To lemmy, or anyone else:
Is there a simple way to take screenshots? I don't see the nice automatic name and store feature here that I saw in Civ 4, and I don't seem to be able to minimize the game and get back to desktop, like I could with the windows key in Civ 4. So what is your screenshot taking mechanic (wonder if that differs between disk versions and download versions)?

So how does it name them ... by consecutive numbers, I suppose?Hitting printscreen does save them to a screenshots folder, so you don't have to constantly alt-tab out (found this out AFTER I did a 65 screeshot story). Sadly, they save as humungous .tga files and you have to convert them to something civilized before uploading them.
It saves them to your My Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\ScreenShots folder.
yes, I have that, but was looking for something simpler than close game, copy to paint every time I want one. Seems they autosave although with who knows what name, and is some size hog format.no printscreen button on your keyboard? Even still, you'll have to paste it from the clipboard to an empty file.
Why do I have a feeling the people of Alpha Centauri will long have a saying involving stupidity and Babylonians? And their kids will say 'Daddy, what's a Babberonian?' and the parent will just laugh and laugh. But then they will sigh, and the mood will suddenly turn serious, and they will begin to lecture the curious child about the dangers of being a thicko.
Now I'm off to read "Lemmy the Indecisive...". Your forum avatar - is that Dylan Moran from Black Books? He's my favourite stand-up comedian by far! No wonder you're so funny!
Very easy to find it. Have a frail balance on your happiness keeping it only positive and try to raze a lot of cities. Until they bite the dust you will have tons of unhappinessif you get to -10 happiness, you also lose 50% production.
don't ask me how I know this.
Congrats, lemmy. You just made CFC's front page. A worthy compromise, I hope?

This was my favorite bit of prose.
Great write-up. Thanks a lot! Now I just have to wait on Amazon for my copy next week....
This is spot on.I would recommend Prince, to be honest. What I'm finding here is I'm having more fun when I'm behind. In Civ 4 I liked to be in front, but if you're in front and have the best economy and the best everything then I suspect this is probably where all the accusations of simplicity have come from.
