This is CivFanatics. This is how they like it.

Makes no difference to me, it's not as though S&T is difficult to find, and your excellent descriptions are really not a review, or haven't been since early on. It's a playthrough, with you narrating. Stories and tales? Seems as appropriate as anything else to me.

Oh, and the mods here just do what they do.
 
Thanks man. I might plunge in with Prince, just to see how I do... Or I might crack on with Warlord just to try and familiarise myself a little easier and get the first win under the belt!

Well, let's see, if she's anything like the historical Wu Zetian, she's planning to plant lies about you, accuse you of treason, and force you to commit suicide.
 
When I first started reading this thread and Wu came up, I thought she looked friendly, now it seems like she could open her mouth and have some fang-filled alien mouth and eat you!

Nice to know that the AI could have some skills. Did you create an early save so you could go back and play from the beginning again? I've done this a couple times in Civ4 to see how things turn out with a different strategy if I lose the first time. Not saying you're going to lose.....
 
I think I may be a bit beyond saving anyone from her at this point. See the 'People with the Pointiest Sticks' military pop charts for details. :D

A land / air / sea invasion on China would be somewhat akin to the way a house fly 'invades' a house.

I'm working on the Manhattan Project, but judging from her empire I think I may be hard pressed to win an all out nuclear war to be honest.

You are hating on the stories and tales forums worse than GD is hating on civ V. Like I said, this is by far the best section of Civ Fanatics, and is where I came to begin with. Maybe that isn't the case for some people, but you already have your other thread up about your positive impressions. Trust me, the "don't buy the game its crap" threads won't deter anyone, just like they didn't for IV.
