Civ 7 Steam Achievements?

Do we know how many steam achievements there will be? On the Steam discussion forum, one person said only 37. That is a ridiculously low number. I love my achievements!

One per leader, one per difficulty, and a few more. But it seems most of the metaprogression effort went into momentos.

Thank goodness. Civ 6 has a hojillion achievements for the most bizarre things. I recently, and unintentionally, got one for activating Darwin on the Galápagos Islands.

Civ 5 is even worse. I went back late last year trying to knock most of them out. I quit playing the game after trying so hard to get the 12 artifacts from different city states one. These achievements can be so convoluted. I hope they go away from those type of achievements.
