Civ Add-on/Expansion Pack Ideas

Suki - Civ need not make there resolution like Deadlock, just take a few ideas out of.

Actual AI that would be cool.

but just to impliment raw materials like that would be a major revampling of the entier system

less drastic changes I'd like to see are
1)I forget what the corruption functions are but what if they left them as is and did the following, have the forbidden city count as a a capital in all senses, 'distance from capital' for culture flipping, and make it a great wonder, there was only one (as far as I know but I'm no history major) then with apropriate gouvernment allow for provincial capitals, mabey one for every 5 cities on a standard map, they would also have an anti-corruption effect but how much would depend or the distance fron your capital(either one if you have the forbidden palace)... of course the FP would be an upgraded provincial capital...

2)I guess that also comes from deadlock, upgrading buildings, a library to a university to neuton's university, a temple to a cathedral, a SAM site to a missile defense, a factory to a manufacturing plant...

3)the manhatten project is just the PROTOTYPE cost for the nukes and you should be able to buy and sell plans for weapons, like the nukes... or any other unit, not that they currently have any prototype cost, the skunkworks should be a wonder or small wonder

4)tarifs simple way to do it, just have boath civs involved get a little extra gold for any trade between them

5)put more detail in the water, coral wreiths, kelp forests...the ocean covers 70%of our planet and we can make better maps of MARS than we can of the ocean flor

6)speaking of Mars have any of you played SMAC and red Kim stanley robinson's "Red Mars" series? anyone see any, similarities(except for the mind worms)? why send the ship to alphs centurai? mars is right here. we have all the techs in the tree right now and anyone who would suggest going to alpha now would be laughed out of their profession. but mars on the other hand... they're working on it!

7)more flexability, like in what can be given what ability for wonders and small wonders
and in units

8) you can only justify the amount of control you have over your civ if it's a commune

I could go on and on and on
but I won't
I'm going to finish learning Java and make my own,
I'm not joking look for it in a couple of years.

I am unsticking this thread. Soon we will have a new suggestions and ideas forum for Civ4 or another Civ3 addon. :)

I liked the statistics in Civ2, and I think they should be back in Civ3. Things like casulties (see how much damage I've done), and I would like some sort of 'accountant's sheet' which would show all the transactions every turn, which are happening.

Also, I would like to be told on the domestic advisor screen, maybe by clicking a button everything that i'm paying for, and everything I'm getting, (from who, when, how long ago, etc)

Last of all, LESS BUGS!
