Enlightenment era! Then again, it's my personal favorite.
I dunno, though I'll probably like anything from Asia, Europe, Mesoamerica or Andes.
I'd prefer something else as my mind is already over saturated with JFD's enlightenment civs and my Portugal-Brazil and Spain.
I'm up for something a bit more modern than historical. Maybe not present day, but something from the last two-three hundred years.
I'd second the notion of a Central Andes civ, but that's mostly because I was intending to think civ ideas for them anyways.
Exactly. We'll get enough enlightenment civs anyway.
Maybe something Chinese? Or a horse based civ(but not from the steppe)?
Then what's the fun in it
The challenge. which I never win in
how about a 50s Israel civ? With a socialism focus and planes and more planes and such
What about (modern) Spain? That could be interesting...
Well, there's various African Horse civs and American Horse civs that haven't been done yet, Comanche and Hausa are the first that spring to mind.
Yeah except me and Scott already did them... And LS did Hausa, I believe.
I know nothing about them, though.
Then my point still stands
What about the Khitans/Liao Dynasty or the Jurchens/Jin Dynasty? That way you get your Chinese and Steppe fix all in one go
Nominating a civ by name is a good way to make sure I don't choose them. I don't want anyone being able to predict the civ I'm choosing to any degree of accuracy or it'd be unfair
Dammit Kerfuffle, I had designs for them
Lol you have 787 posts. We defiantly need something planes related .
I would definitely like something Imperialisitc because taking land everywhere is fun!

Or for normal people, 1387, roughly closing in towards the end of the Middle Ages.
I would really really like to see people do a certain central/southern african nation. Because I really want to do a design for it, since I'm doing it for Model UN, but I have no idea how to put a positive spin on it.
I might do this one regardless...
