Wasn't three or four days agreed upon?
Howard has to vote. As well as everyone else who made a design. It should be a rule.
it was but I'm in copenhagen right now - posting this from my gfs phone that I managed to nick for a minute - will end the voting properly and give the new civ tomorrow when I'm back (hint: the next civ will be African)
(It's no fun being in Copenhagen today; cold bloody bad weather!!)
Lol why won't the two of you have a cup of coffee? I mean I would fly all the way to NZ for that...
Also, is the next civ colonial?
Well now you're just taunting me. =]
INB4 Civ Fanatics modder reunion in Denmark.
That's a good idea. It would be awesome!
Well (and I'm aware we're way of topic here) expect that as far as I know, me and one other (can't remember who though) are the only own actually living in Denmark [emoji14]..
Next challeneg, please?
Oops sorry - I'd promise to be better next time but I think you guys know me well enough not to be convinced by that, so I'll just apologise for the stupid wait and move along swiftly!
Congratulations Howard Tafty on the win! A war-focussed Srivijaya with an innovative but simple design and a scout replacement that I thought, personally, was really interesting!
And here's them Africans I promised...
Alright, may as well try my hand at one of these:
The Kingdom of Aksum
Leader: King Kaleb
UA: The One Who Brought About the Morning - After founding a religion, all units receive a combat bonus against civilizations following a hostile religion. Gain an additional trade route slot for every city settled on the coast.
UB: Endubis' Mint (replaces mint) - Increases the gold yield of gold by 2, and of silver and copper by 1. For every gold, silver, and copper resource within the borders of the city it's built in, incoming and outgoing trade routes earn an additional 5% gold yield for Aksum.
UB: Stele (replaces the monument - Ethiopia's UB would have to be replaced) - Unlocked with mining, rather than pottery. Every time a friendly unit is killed within the borders of a city with a Stele, that Stele's faith yield increases by 1.
Thanks for the submission!
Well I was hoping for something colonial but hey it's certainly was unexpected:
What is up with the two UBs thing?
Kingdom of Axum(King Ezana)
UA: Ezana's Stone
Units gain extra strength for the duration of wars equal to the amount of trade routes your enemy sent you the turn before you started the war, and you receive faith equal to the amount of gold you would receive from plundering those trade routes. Luxuries yield +1 gold when improved and provide +5% happiness per each trade route you send or receive.
UB: Coin Mint
Replaces the mint, but may also be built in cities with a source of copper. +2 gold from gold, and +1 gold on silver and copper tiles. Those tiles will provide +1 culture when improved by a mine, increased to +2 if a trade route is sent to the city. Also makes those tiles yield +1 faith if the city follows a religion.
UI: Obelisk Field
Unlocked at masonry. Yields +1 culture and +1 faith. +1 :c5cukture: culture per each capital city you conquer, and +1 faith if the city follows a religion. Takes 7 turns to build, or 5 near quarries.
Ok, my first try at this. I'm not really interested in Aksum though so this design is not as FUN as it could be otherwise.
Thanks both of you! What period do you guys think the next civ should be from?
Separate names with a comma.
