CIV Gold!

Looks like those xml errors are -my- fault.
I had removed a chunk of the civs, but didn't remove the leaders from that xml file. However, the greeting issue remains.
 
Wyz, I realized it may be hard to find all the LH suggestions in my previous posts (even if they are categorized), so i decided to rearrange the better ones and post them here again in one piece. So when u have some time it will be much easier this way.
Now I won't write down the descriptions and my reasons, just the suggestions themselves. After someone reacts we can discuss them.

I don't think Tito fits into Serbia. His father was Croat and mother Slovene, and all south Slavic nations in Yugoslavia were considered single nationality at that time (instead, they were treated as ethnic groups). So I think we should add another civ - Yugoslavia, with Tito as leader, Partisan as UU and, maybe, Goli Otok or something 'bout labour as UB.

EDIT: And you can add Casse as the Briton Empire, splitting the Celts on Britons and Gaul, adding Boudica to the Britons. IMHO.
 
I always thought having both Yugoslavia and Serbia was redundant. And the Serbian leader doesn't necessarily have to be Serbian. Look at Catherine the Great- she was German!

This. It'd be better to just have Serbia... well, in most mods. Normally I could say Yugoslavia is relatively irrelevant, but there's a lot of civs in Civ Gold who make Canada look like Rome.
No offense meant, I know some people like playing as the smaller civs.

Yeah, Tito don't really fits in Serbia, it is totally true. I wrote the same on my previous comments.
But I think Tito should be in Gold, as we have many other leaders from that era, and I agree with MadmanOfALeader, both civs would be redundant.
So it is a possible solution, and in my opinion most players would welcome that...
Sry because this is inaccurate (I know u r from Slovenia and just now making your slovenian civ), but i don't know how could it be better.

On the other subject, Casse, u r right. Then there would be many other civs that should be added too. I will remove that civ from the list.

Otherwise, any comments on the other LH suggestions? I know i wrote a long list but most of them certainly deserves to be in CIV Gold.

Well, i can't use the LHs anywhere, I'm only making suggestions for Wyx. Just trying to make a complete list for him of the best possible addons for Gold (and of course hoping he likes most of them) ;)
A better Sargon would be great. Altough i like this one, it is only a reskin. Either way, Sumeria should have her second leader.
 
Yeah, i mentioned them in my previous list.
If they will be ready/work sometime they should be included too

Huhh. So u agree with all the LHs. Great news!
Adding civs are for future plans anyway. If i remember correctly what he said previously Wyz do not intend to include new civs soon, just LHs...
Btw since u deleted lines only from the last part wouldn't it been easier to write that down? ;)

I agree with all except CSA, Patton, and a couple of others.
It was going to be a smaller list, but then I looked back over some of the LH's.
 
Indeed, you deleted Patton, I missed that. May i ask what is the problem with that LH? There are 2 versions, and i like the first very much.
I did not find any other other diffenerce in the LHs, altough there can be...

Of the new civs: I noticed u like Macedonia as an independent civ. I'm glad, i prefer to have Alexander and Philip as macedonian rulers.
On the other hand, I suppose u don't like Mycenae and Epeiros because if they are in then there should be Athen, Sparta, and the other city states instead of a common Greece civ.
I partly agree, but i can imagine at least Epeiros as independent.

I'd prefer if we stick to actual presidents/PMs/kings/emperors/etc.
 
Then this not just meant for Patton, but Rommel and Zhukov too.
This is what i wrote for them in my original suggestion:
'I know that the last 3 are not leaders, "just" generals, but they are one of the greatest in history, and the LH-s look awesome.
Most importantly, all 3 are to a big nation with many leaders, so i think it fits to have a general among them...'

I missed those two.
And yeah, they're important, but they're still better off as great generals. It'd be like adding MLK Jr as a leader.
