Checkout the nice-looking tin box for Civilization III Limited Edition at http://www.ebgames.com/ebx_assets/product_images/207765.jpg. It looks much better than the plain looking boxart for the standard version.

On a related note... EbGames has changed the release date of the Limited Edition from October 1st to October 16, SAME day as the Standard Edition. No more whether it's worth it to spend an extra $15 to play the game 15 days earlier discussions...

I don't think EB ever had the release date of the limited edition as the first of Oct. When I first heard about that date, which originated from Adrenaline Vault's release dates, I checked EB, and they always had the date as being the 15th.

Hmmm...chocolate...can't think...must eat...

Doesn't it look like a box of chocolates ?

Ni !

Yummie, well it might look like a box of chocolates, but it tastes better. Imaging a life without chocolates is hard, but without Civ???
It makes life delicious and deserves thus a delicious box

You are right about that.

Avault just updated their release date list today. They now list October 16 as the release date for both versions.

My only guess would be price!
I see it as a way to get more money out of us so we can have a nice shiny peice of metal Intead of a box, when the only thing that really matters IS WHATS INSIDE THE METAL OR BOX!
They could wrap the entire thing up in a brown paper bag for all I care! the game is whats Important.
