Civ IV problems... Please help

Ok... If anyone saw my thread asking for help about Civ4, then this may give you an idea of how to help...

When the game loads, it fails to find the thing in the title: Python Module CVEventInterface And when it does load, all the graphic stuff, e.g. the images of the worlds when you're choosing a map, don't appear...

Any ideas? I can't uninstall it because it tries to install patch 1.74 which i recently downloaded... asks me to enter the disk when it's already in and then searches for a file that doesn't seem to exist.

Any reccomended things to do?

Welcome to CFC .
I recommend that you reinstall everything, because the installation has obviously not been performed correctly, it seems that at minimum one file is damaged.
