Does she have any resources you need?
Well that's a silly question. Girlfriends always have resources a guy needs.
If a woman tries to dominate your life so much that you aren't even allowed to have a few simple enjoyments of your own, then that relationship is just not worth it. Being part of a couple means giving and taking on both sides, not caving in just because she can't deal with a lack of attention once in awhile.

I would first offer an Open Border Treaty just so she could feel free to explore your territory and see if its advantageous to become allies with you.
Don't offer gold per turn becuase she's gunna demand that anyway if you guys get serious. She may also wind up demanding something more serious like the city of Your Closet or Your Bedroom. If you like her at that point I'd say give them to her since allying with her means you will share resources, but if you're not sure tell her no but offer a densive pact.
If for some reason it doesn't work out or you think its not going to work out, don't declare war without planning it in advance. Try an manipulate her current allies to turn against her that way they declare war and you are free to prepare without her first declaring war on you. at this point I like to send spies in and sabotage improvements and sabotage production so as she can't put up much of a fight so if it comes to that, sabotage her job and her way of life THEN go in for the kill. At this point I like to go in and PILLAGE PILLAGE PILLAGE, sell as much of HER stuff as you can and get as much gold out of her as possible and knock her ass into the stone age!!!!!! lol

Any partner that does not understand what you enjoy doing, and get pleasure from you being happy, is not a partner you should have. Additionally, it is important for you to understand that spending time with your partner is important as well.
If anyone really has this issue, you shouldn't be in a relationship. I mean, seriously...it's fine to want to play games more than be with someone, but accept that and don't have a girlfriend then.
