1. Long story. Lived in London before moving to Cornwall.
2. Yes. Go Cornish Pirates (and the French, of course)
3. Not any more. Prefer football.
4. SW is best (Warm but wet)
5. Yes, but prefer Stella Artois
6. Where in Devon are you? I'm in Looe.
Hi just up the road Plymouth I know Looe very well some of my family used to live and work there PS i prefer a nice Red wine most of the time funny i find hockey more fun than soccer
I'm one of those crazy Canucks. It's a close call as to whether the Americans or British are most like us Canadians though, and I have used both civs when playing a "Canadian themed" game by calling my leader Mulroney (for Roosevelt) or Kim Campbell (for Elizabeth, natch) and naming all my cities Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and so on. Now if there was just a GW Bush leader for the Americans (Aggressive, Anti-financial??) I could name him Harper and claim I was doing a great service as I roll over nations with inferior tech and military.
Catan, I hope you don't leave out Moose Jaw. I was there once, so I can tell everyone I was in Moose Jaw. On a related note, is there anywhere where I can see the list of default city names in Civ IV? It seems I never found more than 5-10 cities, so I'd like to know what comes after! I suppose I could always used World Builder but... hmm.

Hahaha, good ol' Moose Jaw, I have been there myself. I spent a few lousy winters living in Regina (which happens to rhyme with one of my favorite things) and made the trip to Moose Jaw for an air show once, and later to visit their legendary spa. Which, as it turns out, is more of a provincial wonder, not so much a national or world wonder in scope. You know there's also towns named Uren and Indian Head in Saskatchewan? Whoever settled those areas had a strange sense of humor I think.
Yes, Saskatchewan also has Swift Current, where I spent time too. Odd place. And yes, Regina rhymes with.. yeah. I once knew a girl from Brazil named Regina. She pronounced it Re-jean-a, and she shuddered every time she heard people talk about the city and pronounce it.. well.. Yeah. I once got stranded in Regina, because the "international Regina airport" isn't opened at night and I had to be there really early in the morning. I was walking alone in the streets of Regina in the evening and at night, and there was just NOBODY in the streets... on a Friday night! Wow. Well it was like -30C (-25F?)...
Yeah, I can see why being a Pole you wouldn't want to identify with the Germans or Russians. Try picking someone you don't have an historical grudge against, like Sitting Bull, and just Polish-up the name a bit ("Stan Bullinski"?)
