Civ Revolution 2

They should release it for the Wii, first of all. I'd also like a couple more civs and the ability to choose the map type. A map editor would also be nice.

Map editor and scenario editor would both be freakin' awesome.

GIVE THE AI PERSONALITIES.
Why?
I constantly have Ghandi the peacemaker threatening me for some -_-
Then you have Genghis Kahn being peaceful with me for whatever reason...

They're just too random. Give them personality, like they were in real life.

Then less aggressive AI would be nice. Once one of the world's best conquerers, Alexander The Great, stops being nice and I'm already getting ass-rammed by Ghandi, he'll come and threaten me, thus giving me two people to deal with, and that's not even counting the other 2 civs that I've met >.>

and also, DO NOT bring back the workers. I don't wanna waste time making them "mine" or "irrigate" or "build road", I prefer paying for the road to be instantly built and having them auto-irrigate and such. Less moving around the magnifying glass to order workers and more figuring out what to do next for your empire.

I agree with the last part of Boomsie's post, but I don't think giving the AI's personalities would do much in CivRev, unless they implemented more things for their personalities to be based off of. In Civ4 it is possible because there are many things for the personalities to be based off of. In CivRev, the only things I can think of is refusing to give technologies, and close borders.

For the sales, the numbers I pulled up were the same on 3 websites, so I trusted those numbers to be true. However, I don't work for 2k or Firaxis, so I would not know the "true" numbers, but until a representative for Firaxis posts the real numbers, I'll take mine that I pulled up as fact.

I apologize for keeping off topic. But those sales figures posted look 360 specific, all formats look to be well over 1.2 million at the time of posting. I consider that a success, especially as it's a console TBS!

Source for your statement?

Boomsie - Completely right, there is too much randomness in the different leaders personality traits, I mean i'd like to go into a game knowing that if i stumble across Ghandi he's likely to be peaceful with me etc.

Here. I have no reason to believe these figures aren't accurate, considering if you click the 360 link the sales numbers are the same as posted earlier.

Yea... Whenever I do stumble upon him and make peace, he decides that I either:

A. Culturally embarrass him
or
B. My culture will be crushed by his powerful armies

And that happens barely a few turns after I ally him -_-

Personalities would be great... I find a kind and peaceful Genghis Kahn, a warmongering Ghandi, warmongering Lincoln, and a Bi-Polar Isabella to be VERY annoying.

Ugh. PERSONALITY. That would do this game's leaders some good.

I shall say it again...

That's the truth. It would make the game predictable, moreso than it is already. Which it's not, but if I have the Indians or Germans in my game, i would bet my life that they would be at war with me for the majority of the entire game, just feeding my archers and pikemen.

If CivRev 2 will come out I'd like to have more nukes in it (not just one) and vikings. I like vikings.

they are releasing it for wii. I got civ rev for ps3 and its great. I think they will make another civ rev.

Couldn't you just use the wii remote like a mouse on civ for pc

Khan should get gold from barb huts. Due to lack of gold, he's the slowest to get a horseman army. That's not fair for the Khan. He should be one of the first to get a horseman army ready. He's peaceful because his bonuses (or lack thereof) put him at a disadvantage early in the game.

India has fundamentalism so has an incentive to always be on offensive.

I love playing as Khan on singleplayer (not because he's any good though) - if they make him stronger I'd be happy.

I would have to say that if they made it onto the wii they would have to make it not use the wii remote as a pointer due to frustration when the pointer is unresponsive. It would have to use an x-box 360 or PS3 type of controls.

I think the Wii pointer is fine - would be good on the WII.

If they re-released it I would want the high score table to save.
