Civ Snobs

I was just wondering if anyone has encountered anybody in MP who fits this description. I'll try to recrate our echange.
I join a game named "2v2 expert" in multiplayer.

Civ snob 1: "are you good?"
Me: "Yeah I'm pretty good'
Civ Snob 2: "Choose the Aztecs or the French"
Me: "I've never played with either of those civs."
Civ snob 1: "Mulholland, you said you were good."
Me: "I am. I've played quite a bit."
Civ Snob 2: "I don't see how you could have played so long and not played with the two best civs."
Me: "I like the cultural boost at the beginning"
Civ Snob1: "what's up with these ****ing noobs?"
Me: "I DON'T appreciate anyone telling me what civ to play."
[Civsnob 1 and 2 than begin to bicker amongst themselves about the settings]
[Civ snob 2 leaves. I leave]

It really frustrates me that someone who percieves that he and his civ is the best can then dictate what civ his teammate plays. The noob comment was a bit of a stretch too I think.
Has anyone else had any encounters with Civ Snobs in MP?
Can anyone think of a better name than Civ Snob?

Just give them a little of this. Talking is simply that. Give it to them on the field and say "scoreboard". They're punks and there are plenty of people on this site that you can feel comfortable playing a MP game with. BTW Jags are no match for axeman on flat ground.

You meed a lot of insecure jerks like that on the web. They use the anonimity of the web to act out their macho cowboy fantasies. They probably think they are compensating for very real failings of personality they are not mature enough yet to overcome. I've found the best way to deal with them is to ignore them and move on.

+1, especially in the games but not only. So don't get upset like that, it's not worth it.

BTW, a little tip : never say you're pretty good. Say that you've played some games before and show that you're pretty good.

Real good players can play any Civ/leader, I play most games with everyone agreeing to random civ leaders.
