Civ V Crashing On Load

When i'm loading one of my games on Civ V it just crashes and I get a message saying Civilization V Has Stopped Working and closes the game

I've already tried Verifying Game Cache Integrity which reinstalled a missing cache file

Any help to solve it would be greatly appreciated

Has this problem just appeared right now, has it worked recently, or did you have a longer break in your Civ5 addiction and it worked a longer time ago?

I didn't go on for two weeks and have just started again since Tuesday for a couple hours a day and it's just happened

mmhh...'kay, not the answer I wanted to hear, because now I don't really have an idea what the issue could be.
Does starting a new game work?

Well the thing is on the game I loaded, I was only on my seventh turn, yet all the others work fine, may be that I need to start another game, shame though

Did you varify until you got the message "All files successfully varified"? It may need to be run more than once. If you did get it, then it is possible that one of your movies associated with the leaderhead screen is corrupted. I think the fix was to delete them and let the game repopulate as needed?
