Civ VI Funny/Strange Screenshots

Heh, if your civ is biased to start in hilly / mountainous areas then that's the clean power you'll use. But yeah, it sure seems excessive.

Meanwhile, in my latest game my capital is another city with three rivers that flood and therefore three dams. Will be wonderful once I get hydro-electric. No need for wind, that's for sure. :)

I'm trying Korea to see how quickly they can get a science victory in GS. Unfortunately I forgot that the dam counts as district that reduces the seawon's science output by one. Sigh.

This location is soooo coool

Nice!
And it means you can build ships without having them stuck in the lake forever, unlike a certain AI.

Who can resist this? Skiing amidst the scenery of a lost Mayan city.
I don't know, but there is just something weirdly beautiful about snowy ski resorts in the middle of lush rainforest. The color contrast looks nice.
By the way, strangely enough more tourists would rather visit the nearby geothermal vent (I guess hot springs feel nice after skiing) or even the nearby banana plantation than the ski resorts themselves.

That wooden bridge in the ocean... hmmmm ... it was either built illegally for entertainment purposes (jumping in the water back and forth) ... or it's a clue for Atlantis? :D

It's just so oddly satisfying placing a +7 science Campus .... ahhhhh  (I almost placed it south, in the middle of that mountain circle... still need to adapt to GS :crazyeye:)

As part of a trade deal, Hungary sold off a surplus bridge and those three boats are towing it over to the new owner. :)

A while back I had a similar "bridge to nowhere" but at least it was on land.

They've got a nice ecotourism thing going, I guess.

So this whole Canada peaceful nation thing seems to be a false front.

This is the last nation I expected this from:

edit: Next turn Canada nukes Knossos again with a bomber. I happened to witness it this time because my last action of the previous turn was assigning a spy in a nearby Greek city.
Laurier is the new Gandhi, he can replace him in 7.

Seriously, what’s up with that bridge?

And, yes, that campus looks awesome.

Several weeks after launch and I finally found an opportunity to build the Panama canal where it kinda sorta makes. It's just a peninsula so I'm not saving that much time, but it's still cool.

There's no way that's real. This is the best I've got so far:

Wish you were here.... (no that is not the old national park bug.. this is real legit tourism with modern era GA, hockey rinks and city parks). When all the world wonders in your empire with their great works inside them combined do not draw nearly as many tourists as one single patch of woods.
