Civ VI Funny/Strange Screenshots

Dunno why but i feel this "realism" shot of CATerpillar diggers (working on the US/Mexico border wall)..

Has almost every details of a similar Timeline Moment of us having built an old Era Wonder if this CHMZ (mod) recolored version is indirectly matched with the mutual visuals..

Strange coincidence to say the least! ;)

Stonehenge was not built by Aliens, it was built to keep out Illegal Aliens?

No, silly.
It was built as a gaol (jail), a detention facility;
those stones were merely pillars linked by some fencing to keep people confined.

Edit: sorry, written in less than good taste, but not in such bad taste as to delete it. :undecide:

Being into a "Funny/Strange" thread.. i'd say almost anything goes, AFAIC.
Sooooooo -- i wouldn't worry too much about interpreting how or why i saw the Yellow Caterpillars as replica of that ingame GFX asset. TBH, it's just one of those cerebral spurling tricks that can spawn irrational thoughts in wacky minds like mine.
Funny stuff anyway.
:shifty:

That recently released Sukritact's Mod certainly gives us a cool "overview" of Global Relations but i think my (June Pre-Patch test phase) game is trying to tell me something.

Luckily we can always selectively hover any given Civ to obtain *only* their related lines. Yet, we should consider a few other wacky issues with that chaotic stuff.

-- Under this kind of HUD context.. it's almost irrational to play against too many (16 in this case). :shifty:
-- Or i could become a heavy Warmonger to clear out whatever amount of excessive output flow. :king: + :queen:
-- Maybe creating optional Check-Boxes for each KEY calls would provide enough/less direct details? :scan:

Now just imagine if City-States would also be (somehow!) represented within such screen reports -- of another type if need be.

PS; @sukritact Manually removing the Top/Bottom "DecoBars" from the XML code helped (me) a little by slacking the UI visual clutter.

So thisa happened. I have a 20 pop city at 1280AD (no internal trade routes boosting). Fresh water and clean houses with a good religion are a must for good life.

The Sumerians of Uruk were envious and joined me after most of them moved east. (Gilgabro is my friend and dropped his capital to 1pop in medieval dark age). The stargazing from zikkurats made them ill. I will bring them Bread and Games!

There's a game of mine with 40+ civs and that mod gets really messy. (I'd take a pic but this specific save is crashing the game, so nope...)

The English Channel doesn't actually go anywhere. At least not until I build a canal city or a canal up North... Although looking at it closer I screwed up the placement of Birmingham. I'm really rusty at this game after not playing so long. I can still build a canal though. I didn't realize until later that this sea had no outlet.

And what if it does go down to and through the core of the Earth? Just wait until you get submarines, they may surface next to China or whatever country there will be. :)

We spent a lot of cold days building this thing, but it was worth it.

It does look pretty cool on tundra tiles, to be honest.

One of the absolutely best things about Civ VI graphics is the way Wonders' apparance changes based on the climate/terrain in which they are built. I've lost track of the number of Artemis' temples or Great Libraries I've built with snow on their roofs!

Ok I don't know how you get this quality of image, but my tundra does NOT look like that, even at highest zooming. And I have a Alienware computer with a Nvidia GTX1070 with all ingame video settings at max...

So what gives ? Is this from a mapping mod ? look really lovely !

I finished the Chernobyl miniseries yesterday. This pic seems fitting to my feelings after it

I got ninja'd by Revolutionist_8, but yeah, it's the Civ 5 Environment Skin mod. Makes everything so much more beautiful!

Thx a lot guys... will try this out I think... I remember seeing this and thinking "Why would anyone want to go back to civ V look and feel", but... if it only affects terrain and texture, but not the overall UI,
after seeing the picture, I think it's worthwhile to go check it out
