I got the eureka from environmentalism, which clearly I didn't learn from considering the melted ice (SPEC OPS FREEDOM)

First time I have seen this. Recruit partisans recruited a fighter jet. I wonder how they managed to learn to fly them. :) And somehow they managed to park them on my unique campus district. :)

Annoying since I even rush built a jet fighter of my own, but I couldn't figure out a way to attack it. Only my city center could attack it, but it took 4 turns of bombardment to kill it.

:eek2: How does that even work? I thought planes had to be assigned to a city centre or aerodrome district. Could the barbarian fighter attack?

Interesting... might finally be a way to trigger that darn eureka for guidance systems. Also what if an apostle tried to convert it?
EDIT: Nvm that was a jet fighter not a fighter.

Annoying indeed. I might try to recover an old R&F game were i had a similar case (not barbarian, but an enemy plane kept alive in a flat tile and was impossible to atack). On that case, tile might have been an airstrip that dissapeared when conquering the city (or even not dissapeared, but continued housing the enemy plane), but having an un-killable fighter around got me on my nerves.

Yeah it attacked me. I had a mech infantry stationed on top of it (not in this screenshot), but my land unit didn't destroy the fighter. I couldn't attack it wither my jet fighter or bomber. It's a good thing it was in the 2nd ring of my city center as that was the only thing that could attack it. Otherwise I suspect it would have been there the rest of the game.

It's possible one of my mods caused this, but I haven't seen this before. But I haven't played a game in over a month, so the last leader pack did include a patch iirc.

I must say, the leader table now looks so satisfyingly symmetrical, 7 by 11, with Mansa Musa right in the centre. Were he named Mansa Nusa, that would have placed him right in the centre of the English alphabet as well, with M being letter number 13 and N letter 14 in a 26 letter alphabet, now he's a bit skewed to the upper part, to the North, just like Mali, which is crossed by the Prime Meridian but is above the Equator, so it checks out too, if that makes any sense :)
Anyway, it's nice when things align.

Along with the British Museum, another reason to turn off GS for Vicky: horses will be visible at game start.
