Civ VI Funny/Strange Screenshots

With any other civ on deity, I'm lucky to get 1 free envoy from being the 1st to meet a city state.
With Germany, I get 6 (and counting...).
*All units gain +7 Combat Strength when attacking city-states.

Not so much funny, as annoying. Someone KEEPS raising partisans in Mapuche's cities near me. And what do they do every single time?

Yep, you guessed it, they make a beeline for my lands and cause all sorts of mayhem.

Plus, because he is beating me, they are higher-level units than I can easily counter...

So far four times in about 50 turns.

Pedro II has a bit of a sweet tooth i think. 6x Chocolate which is the biggest localized duplication of a luxury resource I've seen playing so far. Was a pretty unique start and had fantastic adjacency bonuses in districts established just beyond the chocolate. Great early economy though my production in the city was not fantastic till I could get some lumbermills going in the forested hills.

Do the Mapuche have some "anti-partisan" hidden ability? A couple games ago I was playing as Mapuche, someone kept raising partisans in my cities, and they always went to plague my neighbor Brazil, which I found a satisfactory arrangement. :p

Chocolate without milk, honey, sugar, or any other sweetener is bitter.

Kind of an... interesting outfit she's wearing considering what the climate seems to be in the capital city of Indonesia.

We truly need a corporation system!

I just finished this game (I won  ).

I reckon they must have had 10 sets of partisans in the second half of the game and 3/4 of the units went for me. I ended up with a chain of forts & units all along the border just to deal with it.

Life on the border of a failed state requires some adjustment.

I would just get an apostle with heathen conversion... free units far above your tech!

Who says she must live on land?
I agree and many of her people don't. They live in Kampungs on the water. Her leader background makes it look like she lives underwater anyways.

Not just her leader background, but her arm gestures and the Indonesia theme all give an underwater vibe.
That's some pretty dang cold water she'll be swimming around in, though...

To be honest, the second half of the medieval version of her theme gives me feel that I toppled a bottle of water and the water is spilling out of it.

I think this "oasis" is actually a wadi. :p Actually, I have a city nearby and it never has water in it, so I guess that makes it a dry lake bed. :p

I wanted to do some Wilhelmina play for the triple 7 achievement ... After a reroll of boring plains wheat game I got this.
The game must be kidding me. This is a suitable location to grow my glorious civ from? THE FREAKIN SOUTH POLE? :D

I must say I had to play this gimmick of a game ... and I am having a very exciting game. I know 300 words for snow and experience a rollercoaster of ages. Dark classical, then a whooping heroic medieval and now I am in a dark renaissance aiming for a heroic industrial again. De Zeven Provincien are building a sizable colony in Indonesia.
Adding turn 1 save anyone interested (large/8civs/islandplates/king/standard). HF
