Yeah, this is what happens if you forward settle... No, you won't get open borders from me. (I wonder if she'll even notice... she only has two cities, and the other is almost as boxed in, having an out only by walking some 6 tiles over tundra and then embarking)
Oh, yeah, and she was stupid enough to declare war on me when she was in the renaissance era and I was in the information era... A random Digger + Field Cannon corps + Cavalry corps that I had lying around conquered Manchester in something like two turns.
I am kinda curious as to why you have more culture per turn than science per turn while you're going for a science victory though... Right now I'm going for a science victory, my culture is kinda similar to yours, but my science is over 700 per turn... (huge map)

I just turned off all my science cards after finishing the tech tree (so no rationalism or +10% science per CS etc). Was obviously much higher otherwise. I mean check the turn count and you'll see
As for why, well I wasn't planning on it at first but I had ridiculous production in my starting area (like 100-ish production in every single city, 130-ish in two of them) because of how many hills there were all over the place so it was pretty easy to just build a spaceship in a rather short amount of time
Yes, it's a bug that occurs very often and has been reported immediately early after release. I got used to it. It's interesting that it always appears with the least successful culture tourism wise.
