I didn't know rivers existing next to the coastline.... (by the way did this ever happen to anyone?)
Are you sure that's coast? It looks like fog of war covering tiles that are probably more land.

Are you using a ynamp map? I seen that (though not 3 short river so close to each other) on my ynamp gigantic terra map. But my map has a lot of weird things, like the great barrier reef inside of a lake.

I used to have ynamp but I didn't like the maps it so I unsubscribed. So it definitely wasn't turned on.
Hi all, longtime lurker first time poster (sorry if I messed up the pic formatting). First screenshot on deity level scenario, where allied AI refused to destroy this one troop for close to ten turns. I had to do it myself.

A mission trip turned out to be a golden church planting opportunity for Father Bob (who has just his last vial of holy water remaining after spending most of it on heathens along his long pilgrimage from Spain).

I'd choose B, then I'd send Skirmisher after the last settler.
I indeed went B (and settled on the coast right afterwards) and was able to capture that last settler. (gold-buying units in the new city found).
There was a huge horde to the north though but as long as you have a city where the X-bow can shoot from, all good.

Game can't make up it's mind what Crater Lake is. Although given the placement of this Maori city, it's not going to be a lake much longer. Considering the elevation of the real crater lake and how much above sea level it is.

Started a game last night as Australia.
My land isn't very good and I don't have much of it.
Culture CS in the way with Ocean, Tundra, Desert and Flood Tiles for the most part.
Shaka and Kongo are my close neighbors.
I find that Standard/Standard Deity Pangaea Low Sea Maps don't roll many OP starts.
For the most part they roll plenty of below average starts or worse IMO.
I did get my first ever natural +9 Campus this game though, which was surprising.
Not long after that I found a +8 Campus spot.
Thought I'd share the pictures.
