Well, damn...
The Horde hit a brick wall out of a sudden, literally. The type looks like something they call "Renaissance", and it seems there's a bunch of Cossacks inside as well who are pressing hard their palms against it from the other side to offer more holding power. We'll have to dig in our hooves and wait for big bada boom devices to be developed and rolled in. In the meanwhile, while the two Russian scribblers will entertain us with their stories, we'll just hope that winter is definitely not coming...

The AI is a obviously a big fan of the changes to Rationalism. Got the gossip that Greece just adopted it as a policy, with their one +4 campus and zero cities above 6 population.

The AI showing once more complete ignorance for adjacency benefits with this choice for a DQ (not that Ragnar with his 3 cities has a lot of choice, but the place with the red cross would have at least protected CD/TD/ID) - but hey, at least he has a sense for aesthetics and makes me wish to become diplomat on that island in these grey winter days
