Civ VI Funny/Strange Screenshots

Sadly, that's not going to happen. :(

However, I also have good news: I got Hildegard of Bingen (gives Holy Site science adjacency bonus), and I'm going to wait until I got mountain tunnels and then add her to it!

And here it is!

Holy Site porn, nice. If Spec Ops pillaged and fortified on this, I would rage quit.

Haha. I doubt any AI had more than Cuirassiers at that point. My snowball was absolutely crazy. So crazy that I had to prioritize Chemistry (and the Mountain Tunnel) over things I'd rather research because I feared winning a culture victory before being able to take this screenshot otherwise. (I won 4 turns after this screenshot, in turn 175)

I did have planes, so if a Spec Ops pulled that stunt, I'd probably build an Airport nearby and just bomb him.

(also, I had some even more impressive Holy Site porn in the game I played this morning, but that doesn't really count as I was having fun with a mod that unlocked all uniques abilities from all civs... +11 without card wasn't a strange adjacency bonus to see, and yes I did get Work Ethic)

EDIT: I just realized, this was my 2^12th post!

Me: Let's chop chop chop, abuse Magnus for Settlers and Builders and wonders and everything, until no forest is standing!

Also me: Why the #$%@ am I having all these stupid droughts?

Mother Nature leads The Environment in Sid Meier's Civilization VI: Gathering Storm, and she is ready to take her revenge.

I gave in and, after unlocking Conservation, planted a few forests to avoid future droughts.

Also, not a funny screenshot or anything, but I just wanted to share: This game was my first sub-200 turn victory on Deity. It should be noted though, that I was playing with the Better Balanced Game mod, which enables diplomatic victory point voting from the very first vote, as it's made for multiplayer. But still.

Normal game speed.

Standard map size, 8 players.

Deity difficulty.

Turn 89.

Medieval Era started.

Zero, I repeat, Zero religions on the map.

I'm sorry, what?

EDIT: Okay I gotta rant somewhere. I built the Great Library in my current game because I'm playing as Babylon, and so far I've gotten three boosts from other players recruiting Great Scientists... Two for technologies I was going to boost within 2 turns, and one for a technology that was literally a single turn away from finishing being hard researched.

If I'm not mistaken, Eurekas earned in this way will always be for the technology that has the lowest time to finish? I think it's the same with Oxford University and Bolshoi Ballet, I think they will always grant you the technology/civic with the lowest time to finish. One the other hand, I think Eurekas earned from goody huts and scientists work differently and are actually random. But I don't have solid evidence for this.

I hadn't worked on those first two technologies at all though. They were Stirrups (discover Feudalism) and Castles (adopt a government with 6 policy slots), while at the time I think I was working on hard researching Military Tactics (one step earlier in the tech tree and therefore cheaper) or maybe Education (same column of the tech three, therefore same price, but already some research done).

EDIT: Forgot to look the next turn, but from fog of war I think I know why it looked like that. There's an Aqueduct on the other side of the mountain as well, and I suspect that makes this Aqueduct start at the 'wrong' side of the mountain.

Was messing around in firetuner, when I saw this masterpiece.

For a sec I didn't realize there was a model of Tank and was looking closely what kind of building you built there...

Update on this: I just got the boost for Combustion while I was working on researching Radio, so it was indeed just plain bad luck. (remember, I'm playing Babylon so I got the entire tech at once)
