I thought that I would throw this question out there to see what people think. I know this probably will not happen with Civ VI unless VR becomes a must-have within the next couple of years. I picked up an Oculus Rift recently and it's pretty awesome. Playing Civ VI in virtual reality would be amazing. It's difficult to describe VR to people who have never experienced it. But seeing a game in third person point of view looking down on the world and seeing your units move around like little action figures is pretty awesome. The sense of immersion is unequaled. The world looks like a hologram or like a giant toy set. The leaders would look like they are sitting right in front of you. VR would also open up endless possibilities for the user interface. This is my Christmas wish for this year but it probably will not happen until Civ VII.
