I apologise if a thread like this has been made before. This thread is created for the purpose of listing and documenting Civilization 6 YouTube videos.

I will link the video, name the player, the civilization they play, whether the video is commentated, the play-style of the player and rate their respective decision making ability.

Learning how to use a PC? :nono:

I quite enjoyed those videos, actually. :)

Anyway, thanks for the compilation. :)

Haha nice ratings! and I agree, it was a bit unfortunate that in many of the preview videos the players weren't actually playing much, but rather talking. Sure you ought to tell your viewers what's new and how things work, but that shouldn't keep you from playing :)

Not liking your decision making stat at all, you're mostly wrong.

I loved FilthyRobots comments, but he made horrible decisions, because he didn't take the Barbarians seriously. Q18 belong in the learning to use a PC, etc. Maz is the only one half deserving a decision making stat, too bad he is really hard to understand.

Might want to drop that and replace it with a informative stat. FilthyRobot high, Q18 low, Firaxis medium to high.

I have tweaked the numbers slightly. FilthyRobot made objectively correct decisions in relation to unit position and war with the barbarians. It is noted during the most recent Ed Beach Firaxis play through of Germany that there was a known bug occurring with the spawning of barbarians, and it is evident that FilthyRobot's game was plagued with such a bug.

The learning to use a PC rating is reserved for only those who produce a builder, use a single charge and then move it outside their territory, and put the unit to sleep. I'm not sure if we will see that rating used for anyone ever again, I definitely hope not.

The rating system is more for people to easily distinguish the strategy game players from the... the media and publication guys.

I don't think the bug you mentioned existed in the build that everybody else played, I think it only existed in Ed's build.

The bug described by Ed has the same symptoms as the one in FilthyRobot's game. While I do not know if the same bug is in the build FilthyRobot is playing, it seems unreasonable to have barbarian units spawning every two turns for more than 20 turns and I wouldn't expect the player to have known of or expected such behaviour.

Moderator Action: We only really need one thread of this ilk, so I've merged the video threads together.

Writing Bull has also good 'let's play civ 6' videos. It's in German and the info is as good as the videos by Marbozir.
(Btw, he plays as the Aztecs.)

Link to video.

Writing Bull has a series where he plays Egypt, a series where someone else on his channel plays Aztec and two videos live from Gamescom (the one that is already posted above). It's very informative, but also very slow.

Edit: thanks

Moderator Action: Added You Tube tags for you so people can play video directly from your post.

Well, please keep the format and style of the first post if you add more videos. That is the point of this thread, I think. To be a better version of the previous existing threads of this type.

The Firaxis girl with the Aztec Gamescon game got hit hard by the barbarian bug as well. Not sure early city-state war to show off builder capture was a "great decision" though it at least had the merit of being an attempt to show off a game feature. Given that and the bug that game was basically hosed - no way to reasonably wage an early war and fight off barbarian who spawn like rabbits. I'd score that one "N/A".
