Well, this news was under another thread here, but I don't know how many are getting to see it. I also posted it at IMG.

elpadrino87 first reported, at CFC, that the official Civ3 website, maintained by Infogrames, has a "mac version coming soon" for PTW. Below is an excerpt for PTW, from Civ3.com

I like to check Westlake's status page now and again.

The last item is Writer's Block #2 (the italics indicate a code name. It's already at the beta stage. Combined with the info on the Civ III official site, I think there might be some hope (yes, I read Brad's post, but even so...).

I can safely say that any codenames you see at the moment on the Westlake status page are not Civ3-related, except for the mysteriously-named Civ3 Editor project.

brad, your such a kidder!! We all know that Civ3 editor is just a code-namde for:

Sid Meier's : Civilzation IV - "this time it's personal"

which we all know will be mac only until mid 2004
