Civ3 PTW Intro Movie @ GameSpot

Pretty cool stuff.:goodjob:

However, I think there is too much war scenes. :)

Pretty good, pretty good indeed... Much better than the original! :)

Wow. Thats an incredible movie. Much better than the first.

Well, it's multiplayer. MP is all about wars. ;)

Yeah, you *could* try a culture only MP, but that would be pretty boring, I think :)

Argh! I've been trying over the past 2 days to watch the movie but it won't let me! Whenever Ii right-click "save target as" it gives me a popup telling me that the specified website cannot be found? Geez.....

And when I just click on it to watch the streaming version nothing happens.....

Ahh. I found a link from Apolyton and watched the movie. It was.....alright. The battle scenes looked good, but overall it was nothing spectacular.

Aside from when the stupid thing was incessantly buffering, and the video lagged for that reason, the thing was pretty cool. Like others said, much better than the first... something I'd actually enjoy watching from time to time, and not just clicking or pressing enter like for Civ 3. ;)

I didn't see it because i don't want a gamespot account (it costs $$$$$$). Do ou know anywhere i can see it for free?

So they did waste a lot of time on a f-ing video, but we still do not get an option to sort the city list by city name :( :(

It's really not a problem at all. Artists can't help the programming team program stuff. ;)

Sort by city name is in PTW. :)

WHAT???? Are you SURE???????

You just made No.2 in my list of 'People I am most gratefull to', right behind whoever @ firaxis who decided to put it in ;)

I just discovered that in the locate city window, you can keep hitting the first letter of the city you're looking for and it will keep showing those. I can't remember it doing that before and with 367 cities in my current game that is really nice to see!
