I plan to create a Civ3 Stories & Timelines section on the main site soon. Is anyone interested? ;)

No, I will make the stories into HTML pages, kinda like what I do for the War Academy section. :)

I expect most of the stories in the new section to come from this stories forum and the gotm forum....

Would this include finished NESs?

Sounds good! :goodjob:

I'll have to start a PTW game and make one from turn 0 to turn 540. ;)

Sounds good to me, I would love to contribute. I am thinking of going more into writing stories and you can see my first work on this forum titled "For Mother Russia"

Sounds good. This idea gets my seal o' approval.

Two good stories (that I remember) are Hefalump's "How we Learned to Love the Panzer" and Chief Joseph's "Our Time Will Come... Or maybe not".

I recommend these for the Hall of Fame or whatever it is to be called.

I don't mean to sound impatient, but, is anything going to happen with this thread, I just don't to let this good idea be forgotten.

Yes, I agree something should happen with this thread.

Yes lets get this going, it would be a very good addition to the main site...perhaps there could be an option to vote on the stories, then people would know the best ones?

Good good... I vote for Heffalump's "How we Learned to Love the Panzer".

Ok, I will try to get it up soon. :)

Can you guys recommend some good stories (with links to the threads)? At the grand opening of the stories section I hope to have at least 10 good stories.... Thanks.

Well, does anybody else have a favourite story or what?

I suggest Their Finest Hour (way back on the forum),
the Dangerous Games series,
and The Indian Empire
