Civ4 gold code cheat for Mac?

I love the Civ games. But the most annoying aspect of the game which to me can make it unenjoyable is the gold...

I noticed the PC version has gold cheats.

Anyone know of any Mac versions? Gamefaqs doesn't have anything

I don't know what you mean by "gold cheat" but if you mean you want to edit the amount of gold you have in your treasury, then you can simply change that in the "world builder" mode. It works very similar to the "cheat mode" from the old Civ2, just activate it from the menu.

You can change almost anything, even the XP of units, the tiles (grass/water/hills) , the culture in each city, the things other civ have, you name it. All build in.

The same cheats work on the Mac as on the PC, as far as I know. They just rely on enabling cheat mode, and using the relevant key combos to get into the screens.
