Civ4 Warlords: Won't start

Hi.

This is annoying. I've got Civ4 1.61 installed, went to a store today and bought Warlords (€29.99 @ Saturn Linz, Austria). Came home and installed it. Okay fine.
So I wanted to start, but no, it says I should insert the correct CD. ?? Took out the fresh CD and cleaned it (as if that would help with a new CD, but then you never know ).. nothing "insert the correct CD"...

DO WE REALLY NEED COPY PROTECTIONS??

Civ4 vanilla worked fine btw.
My system is a Dell Inspiron 6000 (the one with 128MB X300)

If you have this dvd drive (TSST TS-L532B slim 8x DVD+/-RW), install new firmware: http://support.dell.com/support/dow...1&vercnt=1&formatcnt=1&libid=32&fileid=167990

Unfortunately, I have the NEC DVD+-RW ND-6650A, but I checked at Dell's website and I have the latest firmware installed (1.03C), it's from May 16th 2006.

I had to go with a "circumvent" for now. I am not too happy with that, since I don't like changed executables. You never know what problems that gives you.
