I just re-installed Civ5 from the GotY edition disc, and I used the Steam FAQ on how to remove the local content and install from the disk, but I still cannot see any reference to G+K or the other DLC content that is suppsed to be bundled with this edition.

Would someone please tell me if I performed the install wrong or where to view the G+K and DLC I'm supposed to have now?

As instructed by the Steam FAQ, I right-clicked on the Civ5 in the Steam library and selected "Remove local content", which uninstalled the game.

Then from the Windows RUN dialog (Win7 Ultimate system) I entered:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe" -install E:

And the game did install from my E: CD/DVD disk drive.

TIA for curing my ignorance if I am just not looking in the right place.

On the Main Menu you should have a DLC button that gives the option to play G&K plus any installed DLC.

Nope, the only DLC that comes up is the Genghis Khan Mongolia scenario, which I had previously. According to the box, it is supposed to include Babylon Civilization Pack, All 4 Cradle of Civilization Map Packs, Double Civilization and Scenario Pack: Spain and Inca, Civilization ans Scenario Pack : Polynesia and Official Digital Soundtrack.

I don't see any of those. Should I be complaining to 2K or Steam or who?

Thanks for your help, I am not used to this Steam thing impacting on how you install stuff.

DOH! I figured it out finally. I had to use the Steam "+Add a game" button and enter the product code from the game folder to get the new content.

Sorry to have bothered folk here with my ignorance.

Peace.
