CivAssist?

Since the use of some utility programs (CivAssit and Mapstat) are now allowed (as of 8/16) - is there anyone here that has and knows how to use those programs?

Seems like we'll be at a disadvantage if we're the only team not using them.
I'm willing to download them and try to learn when I get home from work, but I was wondering if we already had someone on our team who is proficient with those programs?

(Wasn't sure where to post this question - so hopefully it's allright I started a new thread.)

I have CivAssistII and have used it for some of my PBEM's. It is password protected so you must have acces to the password to view the file.

Ok - I think I understand the basics of how the program works (I read the whole debate thread about whether or not it should be used)

My question is – will YOU be using this program to analyze our saves and pass on the relevant info? Will anyone do this? Should I?

Ok - I downloaded and starting learning how to use this civassist program. It is truly awesome!

I'm sure it will prove very usefull - espessially as our empire gets bigger and we meet other teams.

As a minor, MINOR demonstration - here's what the "test new city placement" feature looks like.

Very nice ... I think that this will warrent it's own thread as well as a fantastic visual aid for city placements
