CivCraft is CFC's minecraft server -- a place where people come together to build THE BEST WORLD EVAR! Strike out on your own or work with others to build amazing, beautiful towns, grand road and railways, or deep mining systems. Explore a diverse world full of rich landscape and riches!

CivCraft has a number of features exclusive to this server, such as civilization based mechanics including a technology tree.

An easy to install client mod is required called SpoutCraft (just run the custom launcher!). It does not touch your existing minecraft install so your existing worlds and mods are safe.

• /msg <player> <message> -- Messages a specific player
• /r <message> -- Quick reply to the last player who messaged you

• /lwc -c public Create a public protection (anyone can view/modify, but not protect)

After venturing across the lands I finally stumbled upon a place in need. I vision this as a thriving metropolis! But first some city walls. Maybe some levies too!

Well I managed to get my little cabin set up, love the snow biome, except for the lack of trees.

Found myself a nice huge ice sheet to build on mischief, although the fact that most trees it won't let me cut down is frustrating.

I found that there is a small bit of lag when it comes to trees above sea level. Break the block and come back in a minute. I moved my tree farm underground and it works better.

Anyway, what do I need to chop down stone stairs? I placed a stone stair wrong, and now I can't remove it.

The Bedrock Tree! (Note the Void Particles)

I found this while mining near bedrock and thought someone might've beaten me to it when I broke a block and it revealed leaves. It seems that the tree was encased in the rock itself. I'm thinking that when I tried to plant a tree on the surface, it couldn't find a valid placement above height level 127, so it put it at height level 4.

EDIT: Seems I can't create a bucket, but I was able to make an iron pick...

croxis is there anyway you can have civcraft do something with spout so that you type something and the civcraft tech tree appears on the screen (like how towny use to) then you can scroll over a tech and it shows you how many points it takes to get it and what it does and allows you to select it if you can i understand its just a question/suggestion

me and Ariosos/Chieftess are working on building a mountain city if your interested in helping just ask and its going to be HUGE so it will take alot of work but hopefully it will be awesome once were done
