Civdippers in the Tournament of Scoundrels

That's funny. He's in another game with Keirador and me, and he hasn't NMRed yet. Has he specifically withdrawn from ToS or just gone AWOL?

Doing well now aren't you Gnarff as Austria has imploded!

Germany can't be feeling too happy neither :D

Germany has changed his tune now that he sees that I can support Sweeden. Austria makes implosion look slow. I'm still trying to figure the logic behind his moves...

I was just hoping to cut a support, I didn't realize that I'd have one of his home centres...

Okay here's my little Lisbon update in the Winter of '03 (in case you forgot, I'm Italy)...

...can you guess who I'm not friends with? :D

It's hard to tell because the GM darkens the colours somehow, but three units there are English (Edi, Nwg & Stp)

Spring 1904, Belgrade.

Italy and Turkey continue to work together, and Austria must be on drugs because he alienates the only person that was actually willing to work with him at one point...

Meanwhile, Kitten of Chaos is ready to finish England off despite Germany abandoning him...

Meh? Germany has abandoned me?

Not likely as I'll need his forces to finish this Brit off and he needs me not to beat on him. Have to say Gnarff, you've had major changes in fortune this game, one moment threatening, the next looking like you'll crumble, rinse and repeat!

At the moment you're in meltdown mode again

That all depends on Germany and Italy whether I completely meltdown or whether I survive. I can hold the line agaist Turkey indefinitely as long as nobody turns up the heat.

Turkey looks like he's set to go after Italy. What's it look like from your end?

He's had ideas about Rumania and Sevestopol all game. Then after he gets those two, I think he will stab Italy to get the falnk to finish me...

It's been nearly a month since my last update, so here you go. I'm Italy in Lisbon and it's entering Fall 1905. Russia and I have just finished off the remaining eastern competition (except for each other :mischief: ) and I've now begun moving westward to start a leetle trouble with France. The big question on everyone's lips in all the little Italian coffeeshops: Was that move to Con by Russia really a misorder or the beginning of a rather awkward stab? Russia's a pretty smart player, so I doubt it's the latter, but Fall will tell...

I'd rule out stab. It doesn't seem to be doing enough damage for a first strike. But then again, my track record (with one exception) is nothing to be proud of...

I'm up to 7 centers now in my game, poor Gnarfflinger is on 4 now, but still there holding his own lands secure.

Actually, it is 5. The map posted was the spring map.

Austria is the first player eliminated (thanks to Germany and I gambling right), and me not falling for one of Italy's deceptions...

Now, it boils down to how to lock down the flank against the I-T before they bust through on me...

Indeed, you're right but with all these GM mistakes it is hard to keep right!

So, we're both doing okay and both on the same side strangely enough and against those pesky Turks and Italians.

We'll have to talk to Italy about his misguided loyalties...

I'm breathing a sigh of relief in Belgrade, those pesky Austrian Armies are GONE. We went to 1905 before someone got their red card (and another is going to England in 1906 if I know Kitten well enough...)

We've already waved goodbye to Austria and Turkey, in '04 and '05 respectively...both in no small part thanks to me :D England will be next, but not sure how soon. Probably '07.
