The "biggest" event for the modding community was this month sure the takedown of the file hoster MegaUpload (or for offtopic see here). So in case you're an innocent CFC user (or visitor), and you surprisingly see a FBI notice instead of a mod download, then please don't be scared. There's nothing to worry about, but please go back and notify the modder about that his download is not anymore available. Sadly some things seem to be forever lost now, but it seems that not many files are affected by it (or at least not long).
Else you can see again that many new and interesting things have been produced.
It seems dacubz and Dumanios had a competition who produces more civs, and it's still going on
. Both also released a compilation of their civs, so it's easier for you to play them all.There are also updates for several big mods, and we got some new like Ad Infinitum or the American mod. Additionally we can also welcome 2 new modders to our community, Red Key and Outitch, which are both in the coding department (and some others who have not yet announced anything). Welcome you all
