Civilization 4 startup crash

i have a problem,i recently bought sid meiers humble bundle.I installed Civilization IV and everytime i load it up my pc crashes.
here are my specs:
intel core 2 duo 3.0 ghz
geforce 8600gt
2 gb ram
windows 7 ultimate 64 bit

any help?i tried compatibility mode for windows xp service pack 2 but that didnt fix it

Try giving the game admin. privileges. Right click the exe and choose run as admin. That might fix it.

The other possible is that you need more memory. Win 7 64 bit uses a lot of memory itself. CIV also uses a lot of memory.

I am running on a 2.3 ghz core duo with geoforce 320M but with 4 GB ram. It runs fine for me.

Third possible, try uninsatalling and reinstalling CIV. Might be a bad install.

I gave the game admin.privileges.Now the game starts fine and i can it set it up but after game loads my pc crashes itself.I am guessing that happens because of low ram memory.Which is even stranger,I can run Civilization III just fine.i will try to reinstall it maybe that will fix problem.
