19 gold per move for dyes! 19!!!!!! 19 multiplied by 30 turns + 570 gold is for two monuments or two storages. And I still have all these goods!!!!! By the middle of antiquity, I leave all AI players at the deity level with 0 income, having around 225 gold per turn. Why bother with tactics? Why strategies? With such trade, the AI just bankrupts itself — I buy its goods for a one-time fee of about 40 gold, and it takes my goods for 570 gold. And you know what? Nobody cares! Everyone pretends everything is fine! There aren’t even mods that adjust the AI’s trading behavior, which is a glaring flaw in gameplay!!! Surprising

4 luxury resources for one, because he likes you, and if he doesn’t like you, then three resources for one. Three!!!!! Why does this still exist? Alright, Firaxis, I assume they don’t even play their own games seriously, but how the community ignores this huge imbalance problem is just astonishing! What is there to discuss? The higher the difficulty, the more money the AI has, which means more powerful cheats that it kindly pays you with.

I don't need entertainment districts; all my citizens rarely leave their bliss, and only when I found the 13th city. Well, let them just be happy for now. We'll wait for a new trade item from the AI for 40 gold. All my deals are made with gold per turn, and all its deals are one-time payments — things will definitely start to improve! Difficulty level ceases to matter; essentially, you only build districts and wonders, and all buildings, units, and great people are purchased.

And most importantly — why does all this happen? In Civ 5, AI opponents are somewhat trying to play the game, but in Civ 6, everything is just cardboard scenery. They don’t trade with each other. Why doesn’t the AI sell its 4 silver? Because it’s waiting for you — specifically you. You are the only hero among these magnificent mechanics that the AI simply doesn’t know how to use. This also applies to Civ 7. What’s the point of inventing beautiful, great mechanics that I like if this world of game mechanics is designed for a single actor — for you? The AI is waiting for you. What’s the point of wonderful district mechanics and unique districts when even civilizations whose bonuses depend directly on city planning completely ignore their bonuses? Korea is building districts in its Suseong, Brazil ignores the jungles — they just slap something together here and now. Maybe these heavy mechanics shouldn’t have been introduced at all? Maybe they should have thought about how our heroic AI would interact with them? And it’s exactly like that!!! Civ 6 is wonderful for newcomers but absolutely terrible for experienced players. But trading!!!! And what you consider normal kills the game.

What is the point of your post? "I don't care" yet you post a massive wall of text. A wall of text which I don't understand the purpose of.

The meaning of this wall of text is to draw the community's attention, ideally the moderators, and in the absolute best case the game developers, to a huge problem in the trading mechanics with the goal of fixing it. Hope is weak, but it exists. This is a forum for discussing Civ 6, isn't it? That's why I am discussing it here. What in my text is unclear to you? I don't speak English very well and use a translator; maybe it translated something incorrectly? I hope at least for a mod that will fix the AI's trading behavior. Maybe my hopes are in vain, but what if they aren't?

It may well be that playing on Deity makes it worse, the AIs will get boni including gold iirc, so they may have actually more gold to spend. This "exploiting" the difficulty level is a well known phenomenon in civ games, like stealing their extra settler or worker :)

In my own games on a more modest level I regularly meet AI civs that are broke, so they can't pay for my goods, they will offer 1 gold or something. If they do take something of my hands it is usually in the 8-10/turn gold range, never 19.

For example in my current game if I offer diamonds to the richest friendly civ, they offer 8 gold/turn + 10 gold lump, that is hardly game breaking.
