Civilization: Call To Power

Hi everyone cannot wait for Civ 5, hope its better than Civ 4 as i find the maps to small.
I loved playing Colonization on my Amiga 600.,Games would last for ages, now after a few hours the map is all explored. Just tried playing Call to power again, but cannot get the game videos to work, game plays fine. I made a post last week but got the games mixed up, it was CTP not CIV 3. Any ideas anyone ?

Um, Civilization: Call to Power was not made by Firaxis Games, but Atari (I think, correct if wrong). You'd have to go to them, as Firaxis Games (and predeccessor MicroProse) did not participate at all in the production of CtP, except for providing inspiration. But I am glad of your enthusiasm for the release of Civ 5!

Call to Power is not a Civilization series game. It was a game by Activision that attempted to cash in on Sid Meier's success with Civ and Civ2. Sid sued, and won: CTP2 did NOT have "Civilization:" tacked in front of the name.

We DO have a small CTP forum where you can try to get some help.

Never said it wasn't a good game.

Just that Activision tried to cash in by putting "Civilization" in the title.
