Civilization players are smart and highly educated?

I left high school in grade 11. I worked in the mining and oil industry here in Alberta for four years and I have now been in the military for four years.

I take honors and a.p classes (I'm in tenth grade)
I'm in the school play and I enjoy reading umberto eco
so I guess I'm fairly endowed with some mental ability

B.S. in Marketing.

BS is exactly what the degree is.

"... I had those stomach worms that made me smart"

-Nomikos (desperately hoping to be “schooled” by Civ4)
Often, but not always, the best qualification is to not be formally qualified.

I have a B.A. in English with a minor in Japanese, after I got Civ I found I loved history more~

Currently working on my PhD in Technical Chemistry. (1.5 more years!)

I have a MSc equivalent already (called Diplom Ingineur (diploma engineer) or DI here). PhD and MSc programs are not parallel like in the US, you have to actually make a MSc before you can appply for a PhD posistion.

Working towards a digital media degree. From there, I imagine I will go straight to the unemployment line. Or do something completely unrelated to my degree.

I'm not highly educated but it doesn't matter. When I help my long long lost Nigerian relative get the money out of his account, I'll be richer than all of you!

 hahaha that really made laugh - thanks :goodjob:

When i started playing the game many years ago it inspired me so much. Now i have a Bsc in civil engineering and ongoing for a Msc in hydraulic engineering.

Studying as Web Integrator and need about 9 months until I complete.

I'm a senior in high school applying for the USNA, so sadly I won't be able to play much Civ4 next year (plebe year).

University. Can't wait till I'm done. I'm sick of being a student: wasted far too much time. (on civ, among other things. drat!)

Undergrad, M.A., and Ph.D. Currently a professor. Sadly, this will keep my Civ4 playtime down :(

edit: Note to self: always check for grammatical errors when posting to a topic about intelligence.

You're in luck...no correlation between intelligence and spelling. There is however a strong correlation between posting stupid correlations on the net and stumpidity.
...Ok, that sounded better in my head.
