*forehead slap* I had a slightly mistaken image of the map layout in my brain (one that had the forest, hill, and Lake NewRaisinville blocking your northern exodus and so you evacuating southward); I just checked my spoiler thread and all is clear to me now.
With that in mind, they're safe from attack this turn, and this turn only - though I'm assuming that they will be out of my reach by the time I'm moving next turn anyway.
