Civ's player Age

A lot of players are talking about her girlfriend (including me) and
I was asking me what the average age of the player if the forum.

I'm 29.

I've hit the big 40. Don't have a girlfriend though. Thought about getting one or two but figured my wife would disapprove.

I am 30 and married for 3 years with a 10month old baby girl.

My wife accepts the fact that I have an obession with games and College football. That was made clear from the beginning.

I am 30 too. I'm engaged to my 26 years old girlfriend, and we hope to get married next year.

I've been playing civilization since CIV I and I'm going to keep plaing until CIV2000 or more!

25, consultant, my gf is ok with my addiction with computer games as long as I don't say a thing about MArtha Stewart and Joe Dassin.

Fortunately, I don't have an addiction to Computer Games, and I've more or less abandoned Video Games at this point.

I've gotten two computer games in the last five years: 1603AD and Axis & Allies: Iron Blitz (OK, technically three, since I had the original A&A and upgraded). I still play Railroad Tycoon Deluxe (got Railroad Tycoon 2 for my wife, we both don't like it), Civ I and II, Colonization, and um, Solitaire
Oh, and Moria and Adventure, although I haven't played those two for a bit, since I'm prepping for Civ 3.

Their always turning out to dislike computers very much or me after a while :crazyeyes

But I like it this way its nice and quiet and I can do everything I want without somebody telling me that SHE doensnt like that or some other Sh*t.

But you never know hmmmmokay.

im 20 student play civ first when i was 10 or 11 and was totally captured by this game. btw I know a women who love computer games but the but the place is alredy taken
by a another guy. [punch] and he d'ont even enjoy computer games

I'm 19, a student, and single. Very original.

I wouldn't say I'm addicted to computer games - besides Civ2, there's only a few I've played much, mostly strategic games. I've certainly got other quirks to scare off potential girlfriends, tho'.

I started with CivI when I was about 12 or 13.

I've played Civ1, Civwin, CivII, Civ2ToT & CTPI, but I still think CivII
is still the best.

I would beg to differ. I am a computer geek because it's a hobby AND I'm a consultant AND I wear glasses AND I love AD&D AND I like everything related to Mechwarrior.. yet I have a gf now.

Sure it takes more time... but chances are you will be more sucessful then the average Joe and that's what they find out sooner or later.

That and the fact that you're a real beast in the bed.
