Your not putting me in a nursing home next month, are you ? :crazyeyes :crazyeyes

I'm 47, Played Civ1 till, Civ2 came out, Civ 2 and MOO until SMAC and now I'm anxiously awaiting Civ3. so I can retire SMAC.:rotfl:

TURN BASED STRATEGY GAMES RULE!!:king:

25 years, law student (at least i try to fake it:crazyeyes ).

Live with gf for 1 year, she is in the army (administrative stuff) and some problems because of time i spend at comp.

But since i am a latin male i am the :king: at home:cool: !

Play CIV II since 1995 when i got my first comp. Also spent countless hours around Colonization, SMAC and some other turn based games.

I am 27 but look much older thanks to years of WW2
scenarios in CIV II:crazyeyes

Curse you Stalin! Your factory City on the Volga will
be mine, I swear!

Speaking of which, I'd better get knitting them their winter sweaters!

Too bad the creater of this thread didn't add a poll!
I wonder if one can be added on after the fact:
<15
15-18
19-22
23-26
26-29
30-33 :goodjob:
34-37
38-41
>41

...or something like that! We could check out the distribution. No surprise that the majority are 20s to early 30s though!

I'm, 19, supposedly working very dillgently at college. ;)

My dad bought Civ 1 for our Mac when I was around 12. I too began to play this game, and quickly passed him in skill. (Last year, after a game of Civ II, I found him on the Mac playing Civ 1. It was around 1900, and he had only around 4 cities, trying to advance into Europe. )

Bought MGE about four years ago, liked it and scenarios. Can't wait for Civ 3 to come out, but I'm wondering where I'll find the time?

I am 20 turning 21, a Civil Engineering student, and living with my girlfriend of 2 years (practically married, as far as taxes are concerned). She plays some games occasionally.

I love strategy games: CIV I, II, (soon III), SMAC, Starcraft, AoE, AoK, RA2, etc..
And RPGs: Baldur's Gate (I, ToSC, II, ToB) rules, as does AD&D

Been playing Civ since it first came out, and not stopping anytime soon. I'm just very glad that Civ III comes out after midterms.

16 at a catholic hs...

i first played civ i when i was 6(wow!), and my only game before that was sticky bear spell grabber(it was a welcome change)

i wish i could still play civ i, but it runs like a turtle on my comp(even though i have 512mg of ram-1.2ghz Athlon CPU(##^$%#$@@!#$)

anyway, im single, and am hoping to get a date for the prom:D

im on the young side of the boat, but ill be up there in 20 years, playing civ 6

Looks like I too am part of the youngest group. I just turned sixteen and will be getting Civ 3 for a b-day present. (Just half a month late  )

I'm 16 and my relationships don't include kids yet so I figure I'm better off than all you older guys. :D

Don't play any computer games, but I used to play that Alice in Wonderland Game for about a week before I got bored. Better things to do, you know? But Civ3 might definitely be worth a try.

Am I the only teenager that sees the light of day? Went to prom WITH a date. =P I'm 18, and date 1 or 2 people depending on my mood, and work as a sales associate at Structure. C'mon, they're has to be someone else that is seeing someone...

I am 23, married for 5 months (oi, feels like 5 years), graduated from college last year and am working at IBM now. Have been a computer freak my whole life, and started with civ in 92? 93? Have been hooked ever since. I like all computer games but I am addicted to Quake 1 (Quakeworld) and Civ2 (Civ3 in 11 days!). I am addicted so much that I flew to Dallas for a Quakeworld tournament. (hey, its a strategy game.. you just gotta make millisecond strategic judgements :)
Can't wait for Civ3, I know its going to rock. TBS's rule!

Oh, and yeah, the excessive computer time definately irks the female. They can't handle something taking attention away from them, you know? Ah well, you have to compromise sometimes.
