maybe it was an XML error... I have copy/past the Antmanbrooks XML script in mine, and now everything is all right!!!!!!!!!!! units, buildings, leaderheads!

i need help in something, for a few civilizations (well leaderheads) the backround music in the diplomacy screens with them and the civilizations itself the music doesnt necessarily fit in witht he leader or the civilization, and for 1 or 2 music dont exist or the paths to it are missing.

Can someone please tell me which leaderheads or civilizations you feel doesnt go, so i can edit it and keep it ready for the next release. As you come accross it.

Also im not to sure wether it has been done but i want to create a corporation that simulates for oil companies, any idea if it possible and how i can make it so that the corporation allows you to create a unit like a security unit marine/private security kinda marines. Aswell to make the corporation bring instability/unhappyness in the region as a whole, but at the same brings commerce . but positive impact to the same continent. but make it so that any nation that founds it. And it can only be founded with oil/diesel and can spread in cities with diesel/oil , but whererver it is it gives a a free diesel bonus. And if the city its spreads to has diesel in its vicinity it gives a boost but creates an impact. and can impact in trading for petrolium thing.

My idea seems mess, but i hope you guys get my drift, will this be a good thing to try to implement.

I also got this python thing for immigration. not to sure wether the python part is compatible with a new dawn. but the xml is already done. And i editted to allow illegal immigrants to, as it stands can only join foreign cities. but i want make it so that they only occur if the city is in a state of complete unhealthyness and theres unrest within the civilization or like rebelion or overpopulation. but that there i dont really have the knowledge of on how to make the changes. it also got normal immigrants to move around within your borders to relocate in other cities. but can only spawn when your city is over 10 or so. to decrease unrest and unhealthyness.

I assume you are starting with Orion Veteran's immigration mod. I down loaded it yesterday to have a look see at how hard it would be to merge in RoM. I have not yet had a chance. By the way, the WoC one is the one you should be looking at.:p

Edit: Yes the screen changes are the ones that are going to cause the problems.
 
yeah lol same one, i been looking it for days now trying to figure it out. yeah the woc one i have been looking at, looks cool. but just want to tweak it a little think we can get the above idea going? especially the illegal immigrants part?
 
For the moment only one CTD when back to the main menu (but it is not everytime)

I have preset civs on the australia/new zelland map by entering WB in game (by placing their capitals):
- Australia
- New Zelland
- Indonesia
- Malaysia
- Polynesia
- Aborigines

but I don't know how we can make it to choose between seaveral leaderheads (cause I can only play with the leaderhead randomly chosen for each civ when the map was saved)
 
That CTD got nothing to do with my pack, but i do know about it, happened to me couple times, but not often and all the time:P it a matter of luck,

if you using RoME maybe thats why, but other than that im not to sure hey.

I'm not sure I understand you correctly, do you mean at the start of a game when you choose custom scenario you can't select which leader you want to play, and which leaders will play the AI?

For example if you wanted to choose Churchill as one of the AI leaders for the English, you should be able to just pick Churchill in the Leaders dropdown menu.

Make sure you choose custom scenario though.

Fort exemple with the aborigines it chooses Yunupingu (with the random selection option), than when I save my scenario and I want to relunch it, I can only play with Yunupingu but not with Yagan

I have searched into the script by the note pad to find something about, but found nothing except we can change leaderhand
 
I don't know if it concerns CoC but I've got a CTD on the "north and south america map", at turn 97:

speed : eternity
civ : Dene tribe
era : ancient
nunmber of players : 19

with preset locations

it is not due to a diplomatic board or finishing any improvement or building or searching tech

Nohting special comes in turn 97... or perhaps an event?

edit 1: tested another game with dene on same map passing turns, the result is the same but at turn 99

edit 2: the same but with argentina... CTD at turn 99. The problem must be the map so

edit 3: at marathon speed it crashes at trun 30, and with a non-preset civ game it doesn't... Sorry, the problem is only my customization

Ok, I understand what you mean, I'm not sure how you can choose optional leaders at the start, I'm sure you can but I don't understand how? You can however, replace the current leader using wordpad or notepad but it's a little complicated and requires you to understand a bit of coding, but it's quite easy to work out if you have some time.

Set up a new random map and launch it with the leaders you want to put in your current saved map, then save it as a WB file. Using notepad or wordpad open/edit both the WB files (documets/my games/BtS/saves/worldbuilder) you now have saved and cut and paste the relvant leaders you want into the map you created first.

That sounds like a memory problem, when there are a lot of units on a map, some peopl have experienced crashes, especially as the game gets quite far, but 99 turs seems a bit quick unless you have a slow PC.

'cause it's a little annoying that for having only animated leaderheads i have to choose all of the leaders :(, and i want to mantain the civs, just take out the leaderheads (i guess theres only one civ that doesn't have a single animated LH, but then i would just remove that civ)

For the CTD it can't be my pc (4Go Ram, duo core 3,16 Ghz, ATI Radeon HD4890...etc)

I've played a lot with more than 30 civs and there is no problem, but doesn't matter in this topic it's not a problem caused by CoC

With Patch J, I have provided you a spot near the end of the main MLF and updated the CultureLinkInterface with your own. If I can do anything else to help, let me know. ;)
 
With all due respect, this is an incredible effort in work.

I only ask that a different leader is created for Korea. Namely, remove Kim Jong Il.

The only reason I make this silly request is because in his history to date, he has done nothing to merit being in the game. Being half-Korean and versed in the history of the war that tore the peninsula apart, it is of my opinion that is offensive to merit a ner-do-well to this or any other game.
