Does classical music give any one head aches? I enjoy the melodic works, but it also causes me to get a headache after a while.

Makes my headaches go away...

My musical headaches come from listening to the thumpa-thumba from the moron in the car next to me that has packed his trunk full of subwoofer.....

I like classical music, doesnt give me headaces but it occasionaly scares the **** out of me. It'll be really low and soothing for a while and then all of a sudden without warning all hell breaks loose and it gets very loud. Thats why I cant listen to it on headphones.

not really, I don't find it very particularly relaxing. SOmetimes it has quite the opposite effect if it is upbeat.

Growing up my parents used to play classcal music too loud in the car. I got headaches and blamed it on the music. I had negative assosiations with classical for awhile because of that, now I find it mostly relaxing.

I don't headaches from lisioning to classical, I think it is a wonderful form of music. My Dad loves it, and plays a few tunes on his radio. I don't share his hated of all musical thing modern, however...

I don't get headaches from listening to it but I really don't like classical music. Its more distracting than relaxing for me.

classical music is quite relaxing thou, i listen to them all the time, but also into jazz now.

I do found some Newage musics annoying thou. Like Kitaro's Mountain.

You're so right. I just pictured in my head the situation and couldn't help but laugh aloud : quietly dozing in an rocking chair, the headphones nice and cosy, when suddenly Wagner decides he had a bad day

That is something that I like to use against people when I know what is about to happen in a piece but they do not know is coming. One favourite is Tchiakovsky's 6th Symphony, when it gets really quiet near the end of the introduction (not the term I was looking for, but cannot remember the correct term,) going onto the development. The start of the development is ff compared to pppppp. These two are different levels of sound, with the pppppp being as quite as possible to ff being very loud. It is great fun scaring people with classical music.

 Are you talking about the American or Australian one? I don't think that wasn't shown in Australia.

it depend son the music; I find the more uplifitc the music, the more annoying it tends to be.

for relaxing, one needs awesoem bass beats; reggae.

nope, can't say I've ever gotten headaches from classical music. but I tend to stick to piano's and strings mainly, I'm pretty sure if I had to listen to Opera or something I'd get a headache.

I mainly listen to classical music when i'm studying, helps me relax. if it gave me headaches I'd be in trouble lol

American Broadcasting Company. They used to have a show called "When Animals Attack" (might still be on). They show amateur videos of animals attacking people.
