That is something that I like to use against people when I know what is about to happen in a piece but they do not know is coming. One favourite is Tchiakovsky's 6th Symphony, when it gets really quiet near the end of the introduction (not the term I was looking for, but cannot remember the correct term,) going onto the development. The start of the development is ff compared to pppppp. These two are different levels of sound, with the pppppp being as quite as possible to ff being very loud. It is great fun scaring people with classical music.Bozo Erectus said:I like classical music, doesnt give me headaces but it occasionaly scares the **** out of me. Yes, Bozo goes flying into the air and the cup of cocoa sails across the roomMasquerouge said:You're so right. I just pictured in my head the situation and couldn't help but laugh aloud : quietly dozing in an rocking chair, the headphones nice and cosy, when suddenly Wagner decides he had a bad day![]()

American Broadcasting Company. They used to have a show called "When Animals Attack" (might still be on). They show amateur videos of animals attacking people.classical_hero said:Are you talking about the American or Australian one? I don't think that wasn't shown in Australia.
