I added a Clef Design to the Sacrifics Buttons so it can be used for Gaining Culture.

This was done as a Request from Civinator for the CCM Game but perhaps some of you would have a need for it in your Game.

All Button Files included ...Just place in the Art\Interface Folder for your Conquest Scenario or Conquest Game... Back Up your Original Files :)

There are Two Button Files. One with the Clef Desing Centered on the Buttons and another with the Clef Design set Higher on the Buttons. So you can deside what you prefer.

EDIT: I added the two sets of Buttons with Highlights for those of you who prefer the Button with Highlights for a more washed out appearance in keeping with the Original Game Buttons. All Buttons are in the same Zip File.

You can Download the Zip File Here

Vuldacon thank you very much for doing this button. It is needed in CCM, as this mod has quite a different attitude for gaining culture with the “sacrifice” option. In CCM culture is gained by the work of “Great Cultural Persons” (=GCPs), not by killing slaves.

GCPs in CCM are monks (early eras) and great artists (later eras). The great artist for the modern era is Elvis, using some other great graphics of Vuldacon: http://forums.civfanatics.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=7887
Here you can read more about the new concept of getting culture:

Here you can see how the sacrifice option and the new “Get-Culture-Button” are used in CCM:

Version 2 (better visible clef):

Nice work Vuldacon! This has been an area I've wished had more modded material for quite some time.

Civinator, Because, I believe, you link to attachments on a private forum at SOC this is all most of us are probably seeing.

edit, image deleted

All the images after it the last one above are appearing on my end but the first three are not.

Thanks for the hint againsttheflow:). I will change this soon.

Looks good now. :) The in-game screens show it fits in pretty well. I think I prefer the higher version myself.

The CCM-prebetatesters also voted with 3:2 for the "higher" version. And thanks for deleteing the image againsttheflow. :)

The buttons look nice, and add a nice replacement to standard civ buttons.:goodjob::)

Nice! I've been meaning to get around to changing the sacrifice button in the FF mod to the Church of Yevon symbol (in the FF mod, EVIL civs can transform units into Fayth for culture, and having a Yevon Temple in the city will double the culture gained...) Unfortunately, RL issues have put my Civ III modding on indefinite hold.

Balthasar... Yes, adding a Highlight basically matches the other buttons but then like the other Buttons, it washes out. Not sure why it was decided to add such extreme highlights to the Game Buttons but perhaps it was thought to stay in keeping with the direction the Sun Shows in the game :)

It was desired to have it Show clearly and that is also why the Elevated Clef was prefered over the Centered Clef on the Button... Just a Matter of what one likes.

Looks nice! How did you increase the amount of culture you get from sacrifices to 2000?

Please use the link I gave in post 3 to the CCM-thread. Here (and in some following posts of that thread) I explained it. The amount of culture can be increased up to 4.000.:)

Balthasar, I like your version too so if its ok with Vuldacon go ahead and leave it up please. Nonetheless, I can definitely see what you're saying Vuldacon and would probably go with the darker version personally.

For whatever its worth, the "T" button is something that game came with ().

I updated the Zip File in the Database with Highlighted Buttons for those who prefer that the Buttons have Highlights similar to the original Game Buttons :)
All Buttons are in the Zip so you can choose what you like best.
The 1st Post is Updated.
