More money got from our Austrian allies. The first ship with trade units is going to reach London very soon, around July 1636. The secret of Mercantilism has been sent to France, The Netherlands (as our tech teatries stands) and other one friend ;)

At the advent of the new year Agadir fell to it's Swedish attackers! After having plundered the city thouroughly Swedish troops prepared the local rulers recidence for the arrival of Governor Printz. On the first of March (somewhat delayed) the new Governor arrived and promptly oversaw the incorporation of Agadir as a Swedish colony by the name of Agerdshamn.

Agerdshamn will serve as a waypoint for future Swedish expeditions to Africa with the goal of estabilishing a Swedish Slave Factory to the south.

The renewed offensive in Germany is estimated to recomence in about a year (1636).

John, Spain and The Netherlands, along with France (as Yop told me) will share their techs... That was the teatry, and that was the reason for me to send to the Netherlands and to France the tech of Mercantilism. If I recall it correctly, I would go for military techs, you for naval techs after Constitutional Monarchy and The Nehterlands for Economics techs... Do you want me to see if I still store the mails that Yop and I write? :D
 
Swedes capture pirates! A massive reward reportedly paid...

Independent Coalition forces attack the castle of Morlaix (near Brest). They are repulsed with heavy loss. These were the troops the Dutch were trying to warn us about. Their transports were intercepted by the Brest squadron and made Prize.

The ring around Geneva tightens, with six batteries now ready to bombard the castle....

A French Fur convoy approaches England....
 
Javier - no that's OK. I think that's what I remember. I need to send you Pendulum clock from Holland next move. I think that's all, except I will get Corporate Law next turn as well to will do that too.

You get to build the City Corporations wonder, as well. (Unless Sweden or England beat you to it, which is unlikely).

My commodities are travelling to Englad, and I survive, meanwhile, with the Austrian money ;)

We hope this is a misunderstanding and look forward to a suitable apology and mending of fences soon. Our Ambassador has been instructed to be welcoming to the Spanish embassy.

If the Spanish wish for war, they may have it, of course. Holland is not without allies....

The French constitution is proving difficult to reform, with maybe another year of debate ahead of us....
 
The cannon have been retired. It doesn't was an act of war, but a must in order to get more food. The Dutch workers have been starving the city of Amberes and I've take a square just to feed my people.

I've put the attitudes good, so I think that to make peace next turn should be not a problem.

The Independents have move on war against Spain, without a reason.

To Sweden, I declared before that I consider North Africa, and specially Morroco to be under my "sphere of influence". Please, don't go to the North from your new and just-conquered city :)
