Seems like the new official patch and your v.9 work well together. I can now play beyond turn ~280.
 
This modpack is awesome and it's the only way I play Civ5 now.

Congratulations to the author, and of course to all the authors of the mods included, great work :goodjob:

Just one question, the "More Information on the Top Panel Mod" does this need to be activated? Doesn't seem to be showing on my current game?

I was using v8 and upgraded to v9. I couldn't see the actions that my units have, like move, attack, etc. Same for my workers.

yes, I downloaded V9 from online mods, but at the beginning, I also couldn't see the actions , my settler can't even found a sity, and for the warrior, icons like move,attack,etc, all disappear
by the way, my current version is .017
 
The broken coal indicator isn't just from CCMAT. I've tried two different implementations of TopPanel mods ("More Information - Top Panel" and "civ5crazy UI emod") and both had the same bug. I think it might be something Firaxis broke - like Coal is no longer considered a strategic resource.

Ok, I fixed this myself (the broken coal). Couldn't figure out a totally clean way to do it, so the fix won't work if you're also running a mod that adds new strategic resources (like wood) - it won't show it.

If you know your way around your computer a bit, attached is a fixed version of the TopPanel.lua from CCMAT v.9 in archived RAR format. Extract it and overwrite the version in your Documents->My Games-> Sid Meyer's Civ 5 -> Mods -> Combined Civilization's Mods and Tweaks (CCMAT) (v 9)-> UI -> InGame folder!

Somebody please let me know that this works right - I've tested it only separately. I tried to test it within CCMAT but got a crash, I assume there's some conflict with another mod I have installed, and don't want to have to figure that out.

TopPanel is configurable through config.lua. Just try edit this file and customize what you want to. :)

New version of mod works only with newest patch, so you need to update your game. for version .17 latest working mod version is 8.

Been running your Mod now for a week or so. I love it so far. Would love to see it integrated with Valkrions economy mod...

Have run into a problem twice now. Playing King/Highlands/Stand sized map as Washington. Late Ren... muskets are just begining to appear. At the end of a turn sometimes when there is a production screen it will stick and not let me choose a production and thus not advance the turn.

Both times this has happened I have saved the game... returned to desktop and then gone back in and this has fixed the game. But it can be annoying. Does not happen with any particular city, nor does it happen all the time... not sure what triggers it...

I notice also that sometimes when I go into city screen I cannot get out of it using the return to map button. It does however let me use the "Return" menu at the top right of the screen so this isn't too much of a hasle. Again it doesn't happen all the time, seems random.

I'm not a modder so don't know what info you may need to fix. The only other Mod I am running is the spacebar mod... which I also highly recommend integrating into yours.

Edit: Which now that I think of it the Spacebar Mod is an end of the turn thing... May be the reason for the end of turn glitches... Hmmm...
 
In the future, could you make a release that's compatible with non patched Civ5s?

I think that is impossible for me. v8 was the last modpack compatible with .20 patch. I was stopped to support this civ version after releasing v9. I can't support modpack for two diffrent civ5 versions. If you want you can make it yourself and post it here.

Ok, maybe I'll try port economy mod, but I need to have some time for testing.
I don't know why you have this problems and I don't think they are related to my modpack. As far I know Spacebar Mod only adds key shortcut, and this also shouldn't be a big deal.
Adding this mod is good idea :) I'll look closer on it and fix if it needs to.

Those are weird problems to still be having. Are you sure you're patched up to .621? The production hang would happen before .62 when you were given cities in a peace settlement and took too long to decide whether to annex/puppet them.

And I checked Space Bar mod, it's simply an .XML change to add a new key shortcut, that can't be the problem.

Hmmm... I am running Steam... so shouldn't it have patched it automatically at this point? I guess I don't really know if it is truly updated. Other than I think I am using v9 of CCMAT so that only runs with the patch right?

I played again last night and didn't have that problem, I can confirm that at the time of both hangs it was shortly after gaining a city. And I always Hem and Haw about whether to take a city or puppet.

The Spacebar Mod doesn't actually work... Want to fix it for all of us Spacebar Addicts Perkus?

From my experience, I didn't get the .62 patch until I actually shutdown & restarted Steam - while it was running (chain link in the bottom right System Tray). It didn't update when I just started civ. However, for .621 I seem to recall getting it automagically. Hmm. Anyway, if you're somebody who leaves the system running 24/7 and hasn't rebooted in many days, in theory you could have missed the patch. And CCMAT 9 would very likely still work even if it's not patched yet.

Just check the version number at the bottom of the screen on main menu page. Should be 621 now.

Spacebar mod's not working? - weird. It's such a simple mod. You sure you have it installed & enabled? I'll have a look...

EDIT: Ok, you were right, it turns out the "Simple Spacebar Mod" is crap - it doesn't do a thing, it doesn't even run its own XML code, and is marked as AffectsSaves. A failed attempt by a newbie modder. It actually crashes on my system when I have it enabled, although that could be something more complex. I reported it to be removed, I doubt they will bother looking into it though.

Anyway, I made & uploaded a working version, it's called "Swap Enter and Space bar", it's in the Mod Browser now in the UI - Other section. Also attached below.
