Come make New Fanatopia! (A Region Simcity 4 Game)

Thats more or less what I did and it still isn't enough. I've built a neighboring city to help with demand and I plan on dropping the dirty tax (which is at 11%) and see if that does anything.

What could be done about the unused plots? Could I resign my mayorship of Onnibon for a while to build small villages & the road connections, then resign those & continue with Onnibon? As the empty slots look kind of dumb. Nothing fanc, just start an Easy game, build a town of a few hundred + roads, then resign. Just the 2 medium plots between Mt. Sid & Braunopolis.

Well Perf's game took 10 days under 3 years to finish =P

You are more than welcome to resign the mayorship of your cities to build the others, just know that your city is fair game ;)

And, this is just a request, keep the development of the other cities low (or maybe a farming community or something) so that someone who wants to can develop their own city.

Hi, I will upload some screenshots of my cities next month, I can't do it this month due to a download/megabyte usage limit.

I will also update any connections that need it and I might re-design some of my cities.

PS all my cities use the Network Addon Mod

I just began a city called Foxwood. First time I ever tried planning a road network.

Looks like a good start. Although I hope none of that industry is dirty. They create icky yellow clouds around them. Make farms, farms are good :)
Also, expand the avenue straight south, until it touches the road, then fil that area with residential. You can never have too much residential ;)

*scratch-scratch*

The industry is the lowest except for agriculture, but I read somewhere (I think it was in game) that farms pollute more than industry. I don't want too much industry, only a small amount.

I don't want to expand the avenue yet, it's only there because it's the narrowest part of the river where I can build a bridge.

Updated.

Paasky stole all my industrial demand, so filling up my industrial area will take longer. Also growth has left many sims jobless.

At point I had a population of 7k, but that quickly dropped below 5k.

Before:
- TotalPop: 5,982
R: 3,639
C: 577
I: 1,766
After:
- TotalPop: 10,306
R: 4,624
C: 3,706
I: 1,976

That's funny, as my industries won't grow either. Most of my jobs are commerce, followed by farms, and the last are industries. My dirty tax is 20%, manufacturing is 10% and high-tech is 0%, so that will probably suck most of the new high-tech jobs.

I updated my city again. In all the gaps where I don't build I try to plant as many trees as I can (of all types except palm), to create large forested areas. All the east bank is forested (but they don't show up on this screenshot). This is probably the only city I ever built in any version of SimCity with a working mass transit system.

I updated my city, but now there are rubbish problems. I don't know if I should build a dump or not.

Build a waste to energy plant and lower the funding to 0. It takes care of a bit of the trash.

FYI my webhost is totally shut down, so the page will be inaccessible. This should be resolved in 48 hours.

Also, for those of you who have their demand being stolen from other places, go ahead and open your neighboring city up, run a month or so, then save and go to your city. Should work a bit better.

vb, can you give a link to the canal mod please?
