Commitment problems...

To be brutally honest, although I may be attention seeking, a "drama queen", or king in my case, annoying, a know it all, and a stubborn baffon, you have to admit one thing, I a commitmetted. when I had computer troubles, I informed everyone. I am on this forum, every day that I can be, and try to keep up with the things that intrest me. I always try to get things done, and propose many things, even though many of those things are genereally accepted as a "bad ideas". I am sorry if it sounds like I must accuse all of us, but there are just a few people here that dont seem to get it. If you plan to take part in this game, then you MUST atleast show up, and if you cant, do your best to inform us. Sixchan was good at that, but as we all saw, our first president had problems with this. we talked about it then, but nothing was done. there are already a few threads here on this topic, but I want to make the extra effort to make a point that you MUST commit yourself to this game. if you do not, then it will fail for ALL of us. so please, if you plan to hold office, do your best to fufill it. I am not blaming anyone specific, for all I know they could all have good excused, like Sixchan's excuse, techinical problems. but please... at minimum, try.

I am immature, I know that much, but when someone plops responsibility on me, I do tend to come through.

You said it, we dont have many people, so thats all the more reason that we need commitment.

edit-I support your claim to that position, but as duck says, time. I say 24 hours.

While we are on the subject of commitedness, I was just wondering if there was a required version of the game to play. I have to original, single-player version. Do you need Test of Time or MGE to play it? If I do, then I'll have to hunt that down. I was wondering because when I tried to load the save file. It said "Unable to open game. Not a saved game file."

If this is the case I may have to turn over the reigns of Deimos to a deputy.

You can still play the game...I'll just upload the screenshots in a .zip file for you. You can download, browse, and make your polls based on it.

I'll upload them in a few minutes.

I AM overthrowing! Well, sort of. I assuming the athourity of Military Advisor, and nobody seems to object. So, here I am! If nobody wants to stop me, then I will take on the role of deputy Military.

What is Sixchan going to do? Cornmaster needs to make polls for new officials, such as voting me in officially.

Sixchan or adamsj can appoint you to be deputy. No need for elections. It's been done before. Now only if Sixchan will log in.....

speaking of overthrowing things...

In our youth parliament, there were 14 on the government, I was one of them. 4 people ran for primer, I ended 3rd, so I become Finance Minister. Ryan, the primer, and my new arch nemisis {replacing AoA } MAY had to go to "smart ask" on CBC during the Youth Parliament. I wanted to propose a vote... our deputy was seocnd in the election, I was gonna say that the leader be elected by a majority, and I, of course, was gonna run. Ryan is a fool, and even if he wasent to go, I was gonna try and overtrow him. I talked to the members, to see if I would have had the support to attempt this and win. but I did not... only 1 person really supported me... Janel... and after Youth Parliament ended, she become my Girlfriend...

so I learnt that day... Overthrowing democratically elected officials will lead to alot of sex

Do we hold a by-election now since the Prez is the most important position in the game? If so, I nominate Ducky for it. Otherwise some other nameless unsolicited annoying person may 'accidentally' take the post.

I have already stated that should I become Prez under those curcumstances, that I'd call for immidate elections.... anyways, the final decision is that of the Mod Leasion and President... who, since they are the same person, makes things alot easier.
