Absolutely. Singapore is another great example of a place with lots of economic freedom, but not very much political / social freedom.

The USA have the republic and the democratic party. But those 2 words mean pretty much the same thing, one in latin and one in greek. They both practise democracy.

Aside that the dieferents types of governments could be reflected more in diplomacy, since many europeans countries become fascists due communism in USSR. And this relate us to an ideological era with several types of governments fight for supremacy. Something who really happens and someone called the 3 punic wars of US: first against the sclavagists Confederates in American Civil War, second in WW2 against nazi/fascist and third the Cold War against Communism.
