Where's the link to the stable version? Not the testing one.

There is no other version avaible!

This is a work in progress , we dont support multiple versions, this would be a mess.
 
Just a small info. I just played the first 250 turns of the most recent Version. While there are still a good amount of bugs to squash its quite good and things fall into place more and more.

As usual i mostly will test the early game stuff and on lower difficulties so we have a wider variety in testings.

Especially the fact that besides one small thing all improvements seem to show up is a huge huge improvement!

Bugs are a problem for sure, but due the huge amount of features in CCTP and the fact that Gyogen and myself are the only ones doing all this work, we can only do some parts at the same time.

Iam currently very busy with adjusting Manpower for each era and tweaking the yield system, not to mention all the policies and the huge amount of dummy buildings we have.
While we are still adding new parts, to achieve the point when we think the most basis structure is done, we need to split attention.
 
Dont get me wrong i was trying to say you guys are going in the absolute right direction :) !
Its better to implement features first then squash the bugs since there are some cross feature bugs to be expected for sure if this is similar to other games development.

Sorry, its just that the complete work is very frustrating sometimes.

You think you fixed something, and then bang, this causes another issue.

Or you need to make a big work arround for something very simple and this causes problems on another not intended place.

And at least we inlcuded with the current version more then 20 complete new tables to the civ game, not to mention the policies and great people.

This mod is the most complex mod outthere and its so time consuming.

So i really wish i can finish some parts , like i hope for the technologies and policies in the next version.

Just a note i inluded more then 60 technologies over the last week, so that this will be finally the last change on this place for a long time, at least i hope so.

The same for policies, since we added all the new branches, the old vanilla policies and the adjusted parts for CCTP needs a big rework.
So i started and splitted the piety branch, the same will go for honor.

In the current state iam not sure if i will remove tradition and liberty or if i will reduce the numbers of policies in each branch.
But the both brnaches are not balanced, so it needs adjusting.

As for me i like the fact that there is such a wide variety of policies since it gives the deeper parts of a policy tree weight since if you finish up an earlier tree you dont get the new toys of newer trees.

Just for your personal motivation another HUGE HUGE HUGE THANKS.

The fact that this mod is as deep and complex is what makes it so interesting.
I easily sunk more time into this mod than i ever did in vanilla.

So if you are ever need motivation think of the hundreds of hours of fun people have with your mod :)

When you finish with the basics I could go in and fix all of the text issues, of which there are many!

Im not one of the devs or in any way affiliated with them but still i think its offensive.

Mir egal, bin so was schon gewöhnt , ich könnte ja auch alles in Deutsch schreiben und dann wäre meine Grammatik weit aus besser und ich müsste nicht immerzu alles in Englisch schreiben;)

You could write everything in German, but then I'd have to respond in German, and you'd spend so much time laughing at my poor attempt, you wouldn't get anything done:D

Not to mention that in many cases there is a reason why i write f.e Unit and not unit.
Each time i use [Icon_....] Unit, its feels just wrong to spell it unit.

Maybe civ got his own language:lol:
 
Just a small report back. I was playtesting since I got home from work. Since i play on settler difficulty i was able to snatch nearly all wonders and after the fix posted yesterday i have not had any great person spam yet and i have the whole prehistoric tech tree + settler and nomad part (and large parts of the spirit part) of the ancient era.

Since I play on a super crowded duel size maps i should get trough the game in a decent speed.

No crashes or any odd behaviour besides the already reported missing improvement of the cotton resouce. All others did show up properly in the latest build for me.

I will report in again if i find anything out of the ordinary.

Im now up to classic but starting to lack the manpower to keep up with the wonderspamming, hence i might have to test those more extensivly when either i finished this game or a new major release comes up whichever comes first, of course i will keep building wonders just not as spammy anmyore.
 
Manpower becomes much less of an issue if you can get a fairly large empire

Im playing on a duel size map so turn times are decent enough so i can test as much content as possible. Im currently at 2 cities and waiting for a few hundred years for my warmonger penalty to tick down.
 
The mod is amazing, except for the great people spam during golden ages. I have tried all the fixes and still no luck. Do you know if its there is an easy removal of golden ages to make it a quick fix?

Cleaning your cache, and using the last fixes provided by Gyogen should solve this problem.
If not please post your logs.

Aha and why should be the lasted version not stable?
Why should we focus on version that are outdated?
And got a lot of issues that are already fixed with the latest version.....

Sorry but there is nothing i can do if the dll mod doesnt work for you.
Iam not going to spend weeks to make heavy work arrounds for Macs, if i didnt even use a Mac.
Sure you can follow Gyogens instructions and play without the Dll mod.

But like i said earlier, CCTP uses so much Dll functions that the game will not work as intended.
 

Due to the content of this version Whowards DLL (either version) will be required to play in order for all aspects to work properly.

This I don't really unterstand, could somebody please explain.

We need this 'Whoward's DLLs' to play the mod? When visiting the page there are like 100 downloads. What exactly do we have to download?
